The air was crisp & cool after an early frost so I headed off to the Mersey River and fished a few sections of fast water that was a little tannin in colour from recent rains. Using a Mepps #00 Yellow Dot Black Fury, it wasn't very long before I hooked this solid Rainbow Trout that gave me quite a battle on 4lb. line.
