My Story
It was a nice mild overcast day with a little drizzle on & off so I headed to the Mersey River at Weegena. The river was medium height, good flow & a light tannin colour,I waded my way to the center of the river working the #00 Black Fury in a 180 degree arc and over a couple of kilometers of river I managed to catch 15 nice conditioned brown trout. I did keep 4 of them for a feed and they were delicious. The Black Fury always works extremely well in the Mersey River and is always the first Mepps lure that I use in it.
