I spent 160 dollars to get the free hoodie that was offered for orders 150 dollars. First, the hoodie and hat are excellent quality. Absolutely love them. I grew up with a father that taught me Mepps are the best. I moved to an area that wasn't great for fishing without a boat and got big into catfishing on the bottom with live bait. Well, I moved back to Michigan and realized I needed to get back into lure fishing. I thought 150 dollars might be a little extreme, so I decided to catalog the fish I caught to see if the money was worth it. Here's where I'm at a month in fishing exclusively with my Mepps order:Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Pickerel - Catfish, Bullhead (brown, yellow & black)
I have many Mepps lures. When the bite is tough, tie on a Mepps. I use them in cold water up here in the northeast and they don't disappoint. Mepps are great multi species lures, and you can slow roll them or burn them it doesn't matter, there will be a fish on the other end.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Blue - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Pickerel - Sunfish (shellcracker)
I've been using all sorts of lures cheap ones, expensive ones, all kinds, but no other lure has worked as good as a Mepps. They can literally catch any fish. Wherever I go I take one with me because if I see a fishing pond, I know I'm guaranteed to get one with the Mepps.Lure: Aglia Long
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Walleye
I fish the Mepps Aglia Long in the #0,1 and 2 blade sizes. These lures absolutely put fish in the boat. They will catch anything!! Primarily fishing for bass, walleye and panfish, this is my go to lure. I usually have 2 rods rigged with an Aglia Long with different blades. One of them is going to work. I fish a lot, and can't recommend these enough!!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Best spinner I've ever used. I fish this thing all the time and can count on it to nail bass and pickerel all day long. Still get perch and crappie on em too.Lure: USA Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Catfish, Bullhead (brown, yellow & black)
I have been using the plain Aglia gold/red/white #1 spinner and it has produced fantastic results. I have never had so much luck in my fishing career. The amount of fish I have caught with it has paid for itself. I was using #1 Aglia to catch the smaller fish but I have been hooking on to 20 plus inch Northern Pike and smallmouth bass. I plan on getting the same lure in #2 and #3 sizes. I plan on using nothing but Mepps spinners from now on!Lure: Trout Pocket Pac - #0 Aglia Wooly Worm
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Cutthroat - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye
This trio is extremely effective for a diverse range of fresh water fish. I’ve recently caught multi species of trout in Yellowstone NP with these in size 0 and 1. Black Fury also effective. Prefer single hook for a variety of reasons. A great Go To lure of mine for many decades…especially for shore, wader, canoe/kayak fishing rivers, streams, creeks, ponds, and small lakes. One lure I know I can always toss with confidence! (Use thin, lite, line…4-6’ish.)Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Carp - Catfish, Blue - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow
I am a 45 year old woman I have been fishing since I was 3 years old. First started with my grandfather. He had always used nothing but Mepps spinners. So I followed in his foot steps. I try new lures on occasion but have found its a waste of time for me. I will only use Mepps to catch the fish!!! They are the best!!Lure: Piker Kit - Dressed #5 Aglia Assortment

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Blue - Musky - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye
The Perch Mino and Rainbow Blade combo is crazy. I have had multiple musky over 40" hit it. Make sure you are using the correct gear.Lure: Aglia Flashabou
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Carp - Crappie (Black) - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Rainbow
There is something about that extra flash that will out fish other baits. A number 1 slow rolled will slay trout. I have also caught my person best bluegill on a number 3 along with a 4.5lb bass on a number 1.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Striped - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Perch, White
I wish I could select Hickory Shad as well, they can't resist a size 0 or 1 plain silver Aglia. A white dressed size 2 Aglia cast right in the spillway wash was the ticket for the stripers.Lure: Thunder Bug
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
This lure works like magic. You throw it, they bite!!Lure: Aglia Ultra Lites
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
I tied on my ultra lite for the last couple casts to see if anything would bite a lure instead of nightcrawler, and two casts later my personal best bass waked out of the brush and slammed it. The perfect lure!Lure: Aglia Flashabou
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Trout, Rainbow
The Mepps Aglia Flashabou is a great lure. I used the chartreuse blade and chartreuse tail color (size 2) in a stocked pond and caught a cooler full of fish. I caught one nice bluegill, four or five small bass, and about a dozen rainbow trout. Two of the trout were about two pounds a piece! I lent my trusty silver Mepps Mino to the owner of the pond, but he only caught one trout and one bass with it (most of the time I love to use the Mepps Mino). Today I used the right color and was well rewarded. Thank you one again Mepps for making the World's #1 Lure.Lure: Thunder Bug
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White)
I originally bought one from a store because I thought it was cool looking (something different). Since then I have caught a lot of fish with it. Including the ones I checked above and add in Florida Gar. After only a year, it is seriously bent, beat, chewed, and wore out. But still catching fish. I consider it my don't get skunked lure.Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
The Mepps Mino is the best lure I have used yet. If you want to catch fish, this is the lure to get. Yearling Bass eat this like candy. Thank you Mepps for making such a great lure.Lure: Comet Mino Ultra Lites
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
I use the 00 Comet Mino as my "unfair" advantage, so I never go home skunked. When nothing else works this lure does. Caught lots of 'gills and bass. Too bad they don't make the gold mino anymore, but mine still works.Lure: Grab Bag Specials
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Musky - Perch, Yellow - Sunfish (shellcracker)
You can't beat the Mepps grab bag specials!! They always give you a great assortment of spinners and colors. I use these regularly with customers, The Aglia, Black Fury, Syclops, Musky Killer are just a few of my favorites. Love of the surprise of what's in the grab bag since they are always different. And I like trying spinners and colors I would not have normally chosen, then have them catch lots of fish. Thank you Shep/ The Mepps Man! -Capt JeffLure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, Yellow
I originally bought this lure back in 1980. This lure was my favorite lure to fish from in the canal I had in back yard in North Lauderdale Florida while I was in Elementary school. I could catch bluegill and brim all day long with this lure. Now move forward 40 years later. I just started getting back into fishing and dusted off my childhood tackle box. I caught a fish on the first cast with this lure in Lake Anna Virginia. I then caught 5 more within 15 minutes only to get the lure snagged and my line snapped. My heart sank, at the loss of this lure and to my pleasant surprise I looked online and found that this same exact lure is still being made and sold. I instantly bought the same one I lost and then a couple new ones in other sizes and colors. Thank you Mepps! Your loyal customer.Lure: Trophy Series

Silver Mepps No. 4 are the best, most consistent lure I’ve ever used. Over my lifetime the biggest, and the most fish I’ve ever caught were all on Mepps.Lure: Comet Mino Ultra Lites
Fish Caught: Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
I caught some nice bream with a Mepps Comet today. It always seems to produce.Lure: Thunder Bug
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Sunfish (shellcracker)
This is truly an extremely versatile lure. In one day and on the same lure (#2 Thunder Bug Bumble Bee), I caught 9 med. largemouth Bass, 4 Bluegill, 2 Crappie, 1 huge Pumpkinseed, 2 massive Bull Bream. I have but one suggestion, make this in a size #3 and you will have covered all the game fish in the Sunfish family, including big Largemouth and Smallmouth. Something about the sonic properties of this lure fish find irresistible! All in a days work.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)
The smallmouth can't leave this bait alone -- just caught my PR this evening! I tend to not like fishing treble hooks, so I was pleased to pick up the Black Fury Weedless Combo Killer, which features a single hook and a soft plastic keeper for Mr. Twister Curly Tail Grubs (3 grubs are included in the package). I was suspect of the bayonet-style keeper at first, but it seems to work fine, even in the faster currents of the rivers and creeks where I do most of my fishing. Hooksets are automatic, and fish stay pinned while doing their smallmouth acrobatics. I bought the #2 size in white/black and it casts well, but now I'm wishing I would have picked up the #3 size as well for when I need the extra casting distance. Great product, Mepps, and a good value -- would buy again!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Best lures ever.Lure: Thunder Bug
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White)
The Thunder Bug is extremely versatile and durable. I've caught Largemouth, Crappie, Bluegill, Pumpkinseed all on the same lure (Bumble Bee), all in the same lake, all on the same day! It casts a country mile, an advantage fishing from shore, and comes in great Match-the-Hatch colors. The weight allows count-down capabilities which puts you at the right depth for Strikes. Hydrodynamic and sonically sound. These lures do not spook fish. I only wish they made these in sizes 4 and 5 with fluorescent colors, perfect for big Bass, Walleye and Salmon. Hint, hint!!
