Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow

I use Aglia #3 for Trout Rainbow in Karaoz Stream of Antalya.I use gold/red dot or silver/red dot. Number 3 is better for throwing farther and catching bigger Rainbow. Also,sometimes very small rainbow can be caught with a #3 and release again.
If you're fishing in large stream, then use bigger number of Aglia for throwing farther.
If the stream is fastly flowing,then you can send the fishing line with your finger slowly after throwing with your fishing rod. When fishing the Aglia near a tree shadow, rock, or near brush, then pull and push your rod up and down a few times and later turn your reel slowly.
When you're on or near a stream,throw Aglia against the flow (for example right or left side),wait a few seconds and turn your reel slowly. If there is a rainbow this area,it will bite your Aglia in very short time.

Fish Caught: Crappie (Black)

I never caught a Crappie ever before. I have caught lots of fish, like Trout, Bass, Pike and Pickerel but never a crappie. I was trying different lures with no luck at all. I then put on a 1/8 ounce Silver and Red Bantam Syclops single hook and got 4 crappie in like half an hour. Which I thought was great. One of the crappie was a bit over a pound and a bit over 12 inches. I thought it was a Bass. Another great lure from Mepps.

Me and my little brother just went fishing down at the Housitonic and caught a decent 8 or 9 inch brookie. we caught at least 5 more but we felt bad and released them!!!!!! :)

Found this lure on sale when I was shopping one day. Picked it up, tried and it WOW. Got my first hit for the year on the 2nd cast. I caught a total of twelve bass on it in one evening. Went out to the same lake again, caught another five... and then I lost the lure in a tree. I then cycled through my other brand name lures and didn't catch another fish for the evening. I'm definitely going back to pick up more of these lures.

I got my order yesterday and in the order I got a Thunder Bug which was the size #2 Bumblebee color. This is a very hot lure. Today I went out to a small pond right next to my brothers house. I didn't think I would catch anything as I was just passing some time. I caught 3 fish on this lure. One Smallmouth bass, one sunfish and one pickeral which was 16 inches. This lure seems like it could catch anything. I found that reeling it in real slow was helpful. Great Lure. Mepps does it again.

This is my go-to lure when fishing gets tough. I have caught everything from a 2 ounce bluegill to a 4 pound largemouth on this fantastic lure! Great job Mepps!!!

Good for bass, but my best lure for big rainbows in the local streams! I usually outfish most people that are using live bait! If asked for my secret, I simply say "A Mepps"!

One of the best spinners on the market. When other spinners failed to produce anything, I tried tying a Comet Mino onto my line. On the 5th cast, I was pleasantly suprised when I caught a 2 lb largemouth on this lure. This spinner outfished a comparable Panther Martin 10 to 1. No one else caught anything except me because they were throwing other brands. I pulled a three lb fish out of a spot my uncle had fished for twenty minutes on my second cast. I didn't tell them what I was fishing so the lure would stay productive. Caught my biggest fish ever on it too (5lbs). Hope the secret doesn't get out!

I've been bass fishing for 35 years, I caught my first 9 1/2 lb bass on a Fluorescent Orange Mepps Black Fury . Chartreuse Mepps Black Fury #3 is my best friend. When I don't want to search a long time for bass, I'll use the Black Fury, with the first 2 cast if I don't get any hits I'll move. Normally within 2 cast the fish are there. I've caught 2 to 3 lb crappie easy. This is the BEST lure made , next to the plastic worm . lol
