Lure: Aglia BRITE
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
I threw out my brand new out-of-the-package Bright Blue # 4 Aglia and was promptly cut off by a Northern Pike. My son who was fishing with a B4 G threw out to the same spot and immediately got a hit. He brought the Northern Pike in and landed him onto our boat and that is when we noticed that he had my Agila Brite still was hooked in his mouth, so I took some pictures and got my lure back. A true Fish Story! I have pictures if your interested. Thanks, Roger.Lure: Syclops Lite
Fish Caught: Musky
A few casts into my very first time using my new Syclops Lite lure, I landed a 27" musky. Fishing from shore, off a pier, it hit the Silver-Hot Orange/Lime lure just off the weedline.Lure: LongCast
Fish Caught: Salmon, Chinook (king)
Caught a 21.5#Lure: Thunder Bug
Fish Caught: Trout, Brook - Trout, Cutthroat
Fished the Thunder Bug lure for the 1st time in small waters in high country wilderness areas. It was a riot to sight fish brook trout and watch them chase this lure like a pack of puppy dogs until one would bull its way through and take it. Easily caught & released a few dozen over two days. On a second trip into Never Summer WA, Cutthroats slammed this lure and while the fish caught & released weren't high in numbers, the excitement was good. I can't wait to try this lure on larger warm water species!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bowfin
My dad, brother and I have fished a small pond that feeds in and out of a creek for about 4 years now. We had been fishing with just a worm and bobber for about 3 of them and only caught carp, bullheads, sunfish, and the occasional small bass. Then, this year we tried some old Mepps that my dad had and I could not believe the results! We usually use a Mepps #3 in any lighter color because of the muddy water. But, everytime we use the Mepps, we catch the most and biggest bass we have ever seen out of such a small creek. We, today, caught about 15 1-3 pound bass in just about 2 hours! Such a great lure! Thanks Mepps company! I have never seen a lure so good!Lure: Basser Kit - Dressed #3 Aglia Assortment
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
Mepps Aglia Dressed and Black Fury absolutely make Bass strike. As a Tournament Angler, I travel lake to lake and Mepps are my go to Lures, if one color doesn't work switch up the color, and I land a Bass soon after.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow
Just a few days ago, I waded into a shallow stretch of the Cumberland River, and over a four hour period, I caught and released 44 rainbow trout, many of which were well over 14-15 inches. The undressed Mepps Aglia, size 0 and 1, with brass or nickel blades accounted for the majority of the fish caught. I have been a trout fisherman for about 29 years, both spin and fly tackle, and I would never seriously consider spin fishing for trout without a box of Aglias, Black Furies, and Aglia Spin-flies. Mepps simply manufactures the best commercially available spinners in the world. Bottom line.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
I'll use other cheaper spinners to find the snags but after that, Mepps on. Smoother and able to keep in contact with blade at slower speeds. PB 28 lb.king salmon,15.5 lb. Steelhead.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
