I spent 160 dollars to get the free hoodie that was offered for orders 150 dollars. First, the hoodie and hat are excellent quality. Absolutely love them. I grew up with a father that taught me Mepps are the best. I moved to an area that wasn't great for fishing without a boat and got big into catfishing on the bottom with live bait. Well, I moved back to Michigan and realized I needed to get back into lure fishing. I thought 150 dollars might be a little extreme, so I decided to catalog the fish I caught to see if the money was worth it. Here's where I'm at a month in fishing exclusively with my Mepps order:Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

This trio is extremely effective for a diverse range of fresh water fish. I’ve recently caught multi species of trout in Yellowstone NP with these in size 0 and 1. Black Fury also effective. Prefer single hook for a variety of reasons. A great Go To lure of mine for many decades…especially for shore, wader, canoe/kayak fishing rivers, streams, creeks, ponds, and small lakes. One lure I know I can always toss with confidence! (Use thin, lite, line…4-6’ish.)Lure: Aglia Tandem

I am a 45 year old woman I have been fishing since I was 3 years old. First started with my grandfather. He had always used nothing but Mepps spinners. So I followed in his foot steps. I try new lures on occasion but have found its a waste of time for me. I will only use Mepps to catch the fish!!! They are the best!!Lure: Piker Kit - Dressed #5 Aglia Assortment

You can't beat the Mepps grab bag specials!! They always give you a great assortment of spinners and colors. I use these regularly with customers, The Aglia, Black Fury, Syclops, Musky Killer are just a few of my favorites. Love of the surprise of what's in the grab bag since they are always different. And I like trying spinners and colors I would not have normally chosen, then have them catch lots of fish. Thank you Shep/ The Mepps Man! -Capt JeffLure: Comet Combo

I discovered the Mepps dual blade aglia spinner last year and have not put it down since. This lure catches just about everything that my ponds and lakes have to offer. I had never caught salmon, pike, walleye, or trout until I started using this lure. The bass LOVE it. I troll alot and using this lure on 1 rod and a different lure on the other rod, I will catch 90% on the dual blade. Can't say enough about it. Thank you for producing quality products.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, Yellow
I originally bought this lure back in 1980. This lure was my favorite lure to fish from in the canal I had in back yard in North Lauderdale Florida while I was in Elementary school. I could catch bluegill and brim all day long with this lure. Now move forward 40 years later. I just started getting back into fishing and dusted off my childhood tackle box. I caught a fish on the first cast with this lure in Lake Anna Virginia. I then caught 5 more within 15 minutes only to get the lure snagged and my line snapped. My heart sank, at the loss of this lure and to my pleasant surprise I looked online and found that this same exact lure is still being made and sold. I instantly bought the same one I lost and then a couple new ones in other sizes and colors. Thank you Mepps! Your loyal customer.Lure: Trophy Series

An excellent lure for autumn fishing in the relatively shallow water of the canal (max. depth: 6 feet). Caught 12 fish including 9 perch - lovely hard fighters - with three to a 1.5lbs and 2 pike to 5lbs, which is excellent for this hard fished water. Autumn is the perfect time for lure fishing as the predators are hungry and fattening up for the winter. Most of the hits came in the late afternoon as the light start to fade. High contrast day of bright sun and shadow. Lure moves beautifully in the water, mimicking a small perch - it looked like the black stripes on its side. Highly recommend this lure.Lure: Trout Pocket Pac - #0 Aglia Wooly Worm
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, Yellow
I scored three of these to fish a local creek. We were not catching anything until I tied one of these on. I made my first cast and reveled on how cool they look in the water. My second cast I scored a Large Mouth Bass! My friend decided to tie one on as I caught Bass #2 and #3. He also caught a Bass on his second cast. We slayed (followed by releasing) a dozen more Bass and Bluegills before the Sun went down. I will be buying lots more of these! The single hook is great! Hits were always hook ups!Lure: Comet Mino

I've caught tons of fish on my Comet Mino, but the most excellent fish I caught was a 39in. northern pike. It was massive. It had a diameter of 15in. It took an hour to fillet it. And the same day I caught a huge 28in walleye. I'm for sure telling everyone I know about your guy's Comet Mino. I have never caught so many fish on one lure. I'm a 14 year old kid from Minnesota that doesn't have a job, but loves to go fishing and never, I mean never, had so much fun with one lure. I'm for sure going to save up some money to buy another one of these. I'll make sure everyone I know, knows about these.Lure: Crawler Harness

Mepps are ALWAYS my go to lure. The only reason I ever switch, is to keep things interesting! But almost all of my fish have been caught on Mepps spinners! Great lure for Pike anywhere from 2ft to 12 or even deeper! The fish smash the lure so hard they almost always set the hook themselves! Mepps are just overall great lures and you never know whats gonna be on the line when you throw one and hook into something!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Only my fifth time ever fishing, and first time I used the Mepps Aglia. Caught 3 Perch, 8 Bass and 1 Pike using the Mepps Original Aglia Gold #2. My favourite lure, great all around lure, will definitely use it all the time. Just went to pick up more of them at the store. Thanks Mepps.Lure: Aglia Long
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
I caught a 42" Northern Pike using a #4 Spinner (Glow in the dark lure). As a rule, I usually use the #3 Aglia Long and it catches all species in my area as well as a large variety of sizes. In my Opinion the Mepps #3 Aglia Long is the best all around fishing lure on the market.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I was fishing at Wellers Bay Saturday 07/08/2017 for pike and walleye when I caught a 50 inch musky on a Mepps Comet #5 BRASS. It took probably 1/2 hour to get in his head only fit in my small net . I had to wear him out and finally had his head in the net and grabbed his tail also, to get him in the boat . I don't take my phone with me when I am up there (so I have no picture ) I was shaking with excitement for day's .Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I love my dressed aglia with a copper blade and black tail. I catch all kinds of fish with this thing. All of my friends don't believe me when I tell them I catch so many fish, until I take them out on my boat and show them. Once they see how many and how fast I catch them they all want to know how to get their own lure. So I tell them to get on the Mepps website and order their own. I have a lot of aglia lures with all different color blades and tails, but it seems the fish just can't resist the copper and black. Thanks Mepps for making fishing so much fun!!!Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye
The Mepps Syclops hands down is the BEST Lure to use on Rainy Lake. It outperforms everything else and catches multiple species of fish. I've caught several trophy Northern over the years on this bait. I prefer size #3.
