Location:Culver Lake Branchville, New Jersey
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Barracuda
Testimonial:The dressed XD size 3 with white (silver blade) and yellow (gold blade) is a killer for the hybrids. I tend to troll with these lures and it doesn't take long. It also attracts all the other fish in the lake. If it wasn't for the pickerel I wouldn't need to order so many of these :)

Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
Testimonial:Whenever I go out fishing anywhere I always make sure I carry AT LEAST 2 Black Fury's dressed. My personal preference is Black/Chartreuse in a #5. I have caught countless Northerns on these (and I only retire them after the paint and stickers are mostly shredded off by teeth marks). I currently have 3 of them with all of the paint stripped off and another on the way. They produce bar none. I had a fishing competition just this past week. Fishing was real rough as only 4 Northerns were caught. 3 of them were by me with the Black Fury. I have never gone out with this lure and not caught a fish. I am amazed at the successfulness of this lure and highly recommend it to all of my friends and anyone else who is reading this! Mepps has my loyalty and money for life!

Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Bowfin - Crappie (Black) - Pickerel
Testimonial:I use the Mepps #3 or #4 gold spoon and white skirt. Man in the Tran will tell you its the best darn thing since Larry the cable guy. This lure will catch anything and everything. I out fish everybody. They be using all sorts of fancy doodads and whatnots but my simple Mepps always catch me more bigger better fish every time. I usually fish that Blackwater River its got alot of different type of fish and my one lure will catch them all. Before I found the Mepps, I couldn't get no more than an occasional bite. Now when I go fishing, I catch tons of fish. Thank you Mepps you made my fishing better.

Fish Caught:Pickerel
Testimonial:Went fishing with my grandson on October 18 in skinny water for Eastern Chain Pickerel. We were using the Hot Orange #2 Syclops equipped with a Siwash single hook, we hooked thirty of various sizes from 12 inches to two feet. We lost half as many. I have never seen a lure that they took so eagerly. This was my second great fishing with Syclops. A month before, we also H/R at least two dozen pickerel, some nearly 30 inches in length. Must find some #3 Hot Orange Syclops for next season.

Testimonial:I went fishing at a local river on Saturday and no one around me was catching fish but me! I was the only one using a Mepps lure, everyone else was using bait. I caught my limit in 45 min. while I only saw one other person catch a trout.

Testimonial:On one trip I caught 5 largemouths, the biggest was 10lb, 10 bluegills, one was 9in, an 18in pickeral and a crappie. All caught on a size 0 in the Bumblebee and White Miller blade pattern.

Product:Aglia Streamer
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Trout, Brown
Testimonial:Bought them in Maine never having tried them before. Typically fish for Bass with soft baits and other spinners. With other guys in the boat catching nothing, these still find fish. Completely sold on them for all types of fishing in New England. Stronger hooks would be better though. Heavier set ups would be nice too for bigger fish. The treble hooks do make for a few more landings. I find the brown color works best for more species, but all have caught fish every time I tie one on the line. I would absolutely buy a wider variety of larger sizes and colors if they were available.

Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern
Testimonial:There are some days when we will fish with only one lure, and that is, the #5 Aglia dressed white with a silver blade. On every trip to Maine, we stop at Cabela's and buy as many as they have because we know they will be beaten to a pulp.
They are attacked by pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and northern pike. It is a phenomenal lure and will oftentimes save a trip from being blah. Thanks MEPPS!

Product:Aglia Long
Fish Caught:Pickerel
Testimonial:On August 7th 2009, I caught a 29 inch pickerel on a Mepps Aglia Long #3 with a Silver prism style blade. I was throwing it next to a stick pile in shallow water(maybe 4 feet or so)using a meduim retrieve, when all of the sudden the pickerel hit the bait so hard it nearly ripped the rod right out of my hand. It jumped 2 ft out of the water. I fought it for 15 minutes before landing it. The pickerel was 4 lbs 2 ounces. I went to have it weighed and it was 1/2 pound off from receiving a state pin. Thanks MEPPS!!!!! This bait rules. Keep up the good work.

Product:Thunder Bug
Fish Caught:Pickerel
Testimonial:I got my order yesterday and in the order I got a Thunder Bug which was the size #2 Bumblebee color. This is a very hot lure. Today I went out to a small pond right next to my brothers house. I didn't think I would catch anything as I was just passing some time. I caught 3 fish on this lure. One Smallmouth bass, one sunfish and one pickeral which was 16 inches. This lure seems like it could catch anything. I found that reeling it in real slow was helpful. Great Lure. Mepps does it again.

Product:Aglia Streamer
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Pickerel
Testimonial:I have used almost every Mepps lure type available and must say that the Aglia Streamer will by far outfish most. I have caught sunfish, bass, and pickerel on the same trip while using the streamer and others around have been using Mepps and only caught a few fish. They are a bit pricey but I am willing to pay for the amount of fish they catch.

Product:Black Fury
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Blue - Pickerel
Testimonial:One Saturday morning my brother went out on the boat fishing with his bud. He sent me a picture a couple of hours later of a 2 and 1/2 foot pickerel his friend caught. I was stunned and was asking him what he was using. He said he was using a Mepps spinner size 3 Black Fury. My brother bought some of his own and let me try one. Within 2 casts I had landed a largemouth and another shortly after. I was sold, being as I've never had much success on lures at all before. We've caught tons of fish ever since and I doubt I'll put anything else on the line! Thanks Mepps!

Matt Furman

Location:Schumaker Pond Salisbury, Maryland
Product:Black Fury
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Crappie (Black) - Pickerel
Testimonial:I just started using the Mepps Black Fury about a month ago and was really skeptical about spinners in general. Well after 5 hours on a boat with my friend, we caught roughly 30 pickerel and several 2-3 lb largemouth. My friend also caught a 5 lb pickerel about 28" in length. If you cast the Black Fury and reel it as soon as it hits the water it drives fish nuts, even if they are on the bottom hiding. I usually use a number 3 with yellow dots and tail but have also found good luck on the chartreuse and white colors. If the fish aren't biting anything else, give a Mepps Black Fury a try.

Testimonial:I use the #3 squirrel tail/silver blade, along with some custom made Mepps. I always have at least one pole with it on, sometimes 3 poles. I outfish everyone with this lure alone.

Location:Oneida Lake, Syracuse, New York
Product:Black Fury
Fish Caught:Pickerel - Pike, Northern
Testimonial:I have been fishing since I was 5 and have only caught Northern's in Lake Ontario and the Thousand Islands region where we had our family camp. I also usually only use nightcrawlers, but since it was early spring April 25th, and the weather was so nice this day we took the boat out just to see what we could do. After about half an hour they started biting and it didn't stop from there. From about noon 'til three it was non-stop catch-and-release. I caught three Northern's, 17, 21 and 23 inches. My fishing buddy was using a Mepp's red spinner and he caught three Northern's and a Pickerel. I love spring fishing anyways but because of this lure, it was great! We were using my father's Mepps, but after that day, I am going very soon to buy my own supply! Can't wait to do it again!

Location:Lakes And Rivers, Maine
Product:Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Lake - Trout, Rainbow
Testimonial:These lures are great. I tie one on when nothing else seems to be getting hits and they work like a charm. I carry sizes 1 through 4 in silver, gold, red/white, firetiger and orange and that pretty much covers me for anything I want to catch. My favorite is the #3 red/white, smallmouth and pickerel up here love it.

Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Trout, Rainbow
Testimonial:This is BY FAR my favorite Mepps product. I've caught multiple species of fish with my #2 FireTiger but most memorably my first Rainbow Trout ever ! If I could recommend any lure to friends and family this is the one. I just bought the entire # 2 kit to try out at the lakes/ponds in my area.

Product:Aglia Long
Fish Caught:Pickerel
Testimonial:This was the first time I have ever used this small Aglia Long, the blade size was only a 1, but by my third cast, I had a pretty nice sized pickerel. This lure I bought from a small bait store and it seems to be an older one, the blade was weird, the packaging was different from the other Aglia Longs that I have bought. But this lure is one of my favorites and all I fish with is Mepps spinners.

Product:Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel
Testimonial:By far the best lure I own, I've given up using others and stick with Mepps Silver's and Gold's. I prefer the Silver's, and the fish always bite. Its great to go fishing with someone and see them switch out lures, not catching fish, trying to "find the niche" then seeing them switch over to the Mepps spinners and never go back. Thanks for a great lure and the pounds of fish I've caught.

Location:Ashland, (Big Squam Lake), New Hampshire
Product:Comet Mino
Fish Caught:Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White - Pickerel - Trout, Rainbow
Testimonial: I bought my first Mepps Comet 2 about four years ago. I was a little skeptical at first, but after using it through the first summer, I could not believe how many different fish that lure was capable of attracting and catching. Big Squam is a great smallmouth bass lake but has a large variety of fish. Using this lure, in a variety of ways, including casting, trolling, bouncing over rocks and even casting it out and letting it fall to the bottom!!! The fish just seem to believe it's a real bait fish and they attack it. I have caught Largemouth, smallmouth, salmon, pickeral, whitefish, rainbow, even a bullhead with it. My lure box has never been out of this lure since the first time I used it. Sometime's they are hard to find, so now I buy more when I do fine them...Thanks, Mepp's for the great lure...
