Tyler – Valley, Nebraska

Lure: Syclops

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern - Trout, Lake - Walleye

My family and I head north to Ontario, Canada every year. The first few years we would take tackle box among tackle box with everything and the kitchen sink. The third year we stopped at a small tackle and bait shop in Red Lake, ON and picked up a couple of the Mepps Syclops. Figured we would give them a try. The clerk said they worked well. Have not looked back since. They work especially well for Pike, troll with them and you'll get plenty of walleye. I lean towards the Firetiger. Every year I bring one home that didn't get lost and it is just mutilated and scarred from catching so many. Great lures. For the price there is no reason to not have at least one. Thanks Mepps.

Jeffrey Scheuler – Lake Mcconaguhy Keystone,ne., Nebraska

Lure: Aglia Tandem

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

I was saving this Aglia Tandem to use at a musky lake, had been having great success on #5 bucktails for large Northerns off the dam,a high risk, high reward place to throw lures. Seems the Mepps would skip over the rocks better than anything else I would throw. After another lure gone, the Tandem got wet!! Really looks good in the water, bigger tail!! After about three casts, I landed a nice 12lb Pike!!! And, the bigger Smallmouths love 'em too!! Later, Jeff Scheuler Keystone, NE.

Chad Meyer – Southeast Nebraska Farm Ponds, Nebraska

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

I don't know what it is about the B2ST S-W silver/white Mepps #2 Aglias that makes them bass killers in farm ponds, but they are. In fact, if the bass aren't hitting on that particular lure, it's been my experience that they aren't hitting on anything. I've probably bought 2 dozen of them over the years and I usually buy 2 or 3 at a time because I've donated so many to snags and sticks fishing "cover" in ponds, but it's been money well spent. I first tried one as a fluke because it was in my Mepps Basser kit and I'd tried all the flashier lures in the kit one day along with several other makes and models of lure and they just weren't biting. I had no expectation of success with the "plain" silver spinner and white tail, but I proceeded to catch 9 pan-size bass within the next 30 minutes in one walk around the same pond I'd been fishing for an hour without a bite. This is the do-all and end-all lure for catching largemouth bass in our farm ponds. Good job Mepps, and don't dare discontinue this lure.

Sam – Snake River, Ne Rob Roy Res., Wy , Nebraska

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow

This product is deadly on Trout. I know this product can take MANY other species as well. Crappie, Largemouth, Rock Bass, Sunfish, Grayling, whitefish, you name it. 16 inch Rainbow trout at the spring fed Snake River in NE, foot long Rainbows and a 8 inch Brown in Rob Roy Res., and 10 cutthroats in the real Snake River in Wyoming, the first sentence is true at least for me.
