The classic Mepps Aglia is now available with a brightly colored body. No other lure has caught as many record fish as the Mepps Aglia and the Aglia BRITE is sure to continue this tradition.
In addition to the classic Mepps French blade, every Mepps Aglia BRITE features a solid brass brightly-colored, high-visibility body with a durable, chip-resistant finish. There's also a BRITE strike-attractor bead and an extra-sharp VMC hook. Blades are either genuine silver plate or polished brass.
Sizes #0 and #1 are excellent for panfish, small trout, grayling and Arctic char. Sizes #2 and #3 are outstanding for bass, walleye, large trout, salmon and steelhead.

At 64 I've fished extensively throughout the Upper midwest from Northern Lower Mi. to Northern Mn. and everywhere in between for over 50 years. I threw out my brand new out-of-the-package Bright Blue # 4 Aglia and was promptly cut off by a Northern Pike. My son who was fishing with a B4 G threw out to the same spot and immediately got a hit. He brought the Northern Pike in and landed him onto our boat and that is when we noticed that he had my Agila Brite still was hooked in his mouth, so I took some pictures and got my lure back. I have been fishing the Manitowoc River for over 15 years now but never have I caught so many fish than on the new Aglia BRITE #3 Orange-Gold. October 5th was the first huge day as I reeled in an 11 lb. steelhead, a 7 lb. brown trout, 2 coho salmon about 5 lbs. each, 2 chinook salmon each over 10 lbs., and 3 smallmouth bass over 18". I caught all these fish on the Aglia BRITE in a span of about 50 minutes in the same hole. My go to was always the #3 Aglia dressed, but, I may have a new favorite.
