| Found this lure on sale when I was shopping one day. Picked it up, tried and it WOW. Got my first hit for the year on the 2nd cast. I caught a total of twelve bass on it in one evening. Went out to the same lake again, caught another five... and then I lost the lure in a tree. I then cycled through my other brand name lures and didn't catch another fish for the evening. I'm definitely going back to pick up more of these lures. |

| I've been bass fishing for 35 years, I caught my first 9 1/2 lb bass on a Fluorescent Orange Mepps Black Fury . Chartreuse Mepps Black Fury #3 is my best friend. When I don't want to search a long time for bass, I'll use the Black Fury, with the first 2 cast if I don't get any hits I'll move. Normally within 2 cast the fish are there. I've caught 2 to 3 lb crappie easy. This is the BEST lure made , next to the plastic worm . lol |

| One Saturday morning my brother went out on the boat fishing with his bud. He sent me a picture a couple of hours later of a 2 and 1/2 foot pickerel his friend caught. I was stunned and was asking him what he was using. He said he was using a Mepps spinner size 3 Black Fury. My brother bought some of his own and let me try one. Within 2 casts I had landed a largemouth and another shortly after. I was sold, being as I've never had much success on lures at all before. We've caught tons of fish ever since and I doubt I'll put anything else on the line! Thanks Mepps! |

| I went fishing late (around 6:30) nobody was catching anything. then I brought along my only lure. After a couple minutes of searching for a good spot, I casted out and this 1lb average rock (warmouth) bass was caught. Good for every thing!! |

| I just started using the Mepps Black Fury about a month ago and was really skeptical about spinners in general. Well after 5 hours on a boat with my friend, we caught roughly 30 pickerel and several 2-3 lb largemouth. My friend also caught a 5 lb pickerel about 28" in length. If you cast the Black Fury and reel it as soon as it hits the water it drives fish nuts, even if they are on the bottom hiding. I usually use a number 3 with yellow dots and tail but have also found good luck on the chartreuse and white colors. If the fish aren't biting anything else, give a Mepps Black Fury a try. |

| The Standard Mepps Black Fury: Size #2 in traditional dress with yellow, brown, and red colored tail is the only lure I have ever fished, that I can remember as a little boy fishing where I caught 4 bass between 1 and 2 pounds apiece on every single cast from the first to the fourth and on the 5th I either hooked, snagged a large fish because the lure broke off: that's the best experience I ever had with an artificial lure period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| I have just began using the Mepps Black Fury with a dressed treble hook about a week ago. It has worked really well! In only 3 times fishing with it in a private Ohio pond I have caught over 15 largemouth bass, and even a couple crappie. Thanks Mepps for making such a great lure! |

| Using the Black Fury in size 0 with a yellow tail, I was able to catch a mess of fish, big and little, in a matter of minutes in a private pond in Colorado. Truly, this is a great lure and shows Mepps quality through out. Way to go Mepps! |

| I used this lure the last time I went to the lake..it was the only lure that produced alot of northerns. Whenever fishing is slow I can count on this lure to pull through for me. All the Black Fury's are good producers. My favorite is the chartreuse dots and the white dots. I have also caught a good number of bass on Black Fury's...CANT GO WRONG with this lure. |

| I fish this lure from shore in about 4 feet of water in a weedy area and the pike go nuts for it it works well reeling it in fast. It gets huge northern, this lure is just awesome for big bass and northern pike. |

| Mille Lacs is widely known for it's "killer" walleye in the summer, and the frenzied perch in the winter. One fish that the lake is not known for is it's pike. Northern is what you might classify as a long lost secret. I discovered this secret shortly after my purchase of the Black Fury. I was on a, "well", tackle binge and I bought almost anything and everything. About a week or so after I went out to the lake, just for a cast or two, I went through a couple of lures with almost no luck. I was about to pack up and call it a day when I decided to use the Black Fury and, well, it lived up to it's name. The northern pike would not stop biting! It was the most fun I have ever had fishing. From that day on the Black Fury has become my lure of choice! |

| This spinner caught me 12 largemouth bass in an hour and all were above 2 lbs. works excellent in all kinds of water, I found it effective most when I casted about 25 feet from shore and worked it medium fast. This is a great spinner and I still have the one I caught all the bass on and I still use it. These lures can take a beating and still function like you just took it out of the package. |
