Went to a local park a couple blocks from home once it finally felt like spring weather. Caught over a dozen rainbow trout ranging from 7 to 12 inches, all but 1 on a Mepps. Later found out the DNR had planted over 26,000 rainbow trout a month earlier not even a half mile from the stretch of river I was fishing. Still caught the fish, just with a little bit of help, unbeknownst to myself at the time.
