The new Mepps Little Wolf is for any angler who appreciates the handcrafted quality of yesterday and the vibrant fish-attracting colors of today.
It's a rugged, solid brass spoon that will not rust or tarnish like many other ordinary spoons. Its genuine silver-plating produces one bright white flash after another as it is pulled through the water, and its reverse-curve design features ten distinct highly-reflective surfaces that disburse light equally in all directions.
All Little Wolf's feature a perfect blend of vinyl and acrylic oven-baked finishes with a contrasting logo for maximum visibility and durability. Mepps proprietary finishes are far more chip- resistant than similar finishes on similar products.
As if this wasn't enough, all Mepps Little Wolves have a razor-sharp, perfectly honed hook with high-visibility strike-attractor tube. Together, these entice more fish to strike while yielding a higher hooking percentage. Every Little Wolf is perfectly balanced to maintain the same intense side-to-side wobbling action at all retrieval speeds. It doesn't stall when you stop your retrieve. Instead, it maintains its action as it falls.
The 1/8 oz. Mepps Little Wolf is perfect for stream trout and panfish (bluegills, sunfish, or crappies). The 1/4 oz. will not only catch larger stream trout, it is also perfectly-sized for smallmouth bass and walleye.
Keep in mind, these light spoons require a nimble rod, equipped with a light action reel spooled with light line; nothing heavier than six-pound-test. Two-pound-test to four-pound-test is better. The Little Wolf is ideal for teaching youngsters the basics of spinner fishing, as they are heavy enough to cast well with light tackle, yet they are small enough to catch a variety of fish.
Three years of development and testing means every Mepps Little Wolf performs perfectly right out of the package.

Have been using Mepps all my life. But, when I first bought a Little Wolf, it was gold. It became one of my favorites. First day I used it while fishing at a small lake near where I live in western New York, I caught 3 largemouth bass,at least 5 bluegill, a couple of crappie, and 4 brook trout in about a hour. I then passed it on to my wife so she could catch some fish, since the live bait she was using had only caught her a couple of bluegill. This gold Little Wolf and others that I have bought this season, have been producing every time.

Great lure! Fishing small lake with 1/8 gold for less than a 1 1/2 hours and caught 4 largemouth bass, 3 brook trout,couple of crappie, and at least a half-dozen bluegills. Have also used in Creek to catch trout. Have always fished with Mepps, but, have a new favorite now.

I could not reel the pike in fast enough using an all silver Little Wolf. Seven days in the Canadian wilderness would not have been the same without this gem. I utilized several methods, mostly a simple cast and retrieve, but also trolling. It really didn't seem to matter what I did, as long as it was in the water it drove the pike crazy. I regret that I had only purchased one of these prior to the trip. By the final day, it looked like it had been run over by a truck a few times. Nonetheless, it was still catching fish. I retired the lure, and put it in my hall of fame. My tackle box will never be without one from now on.

Bought two 1/8 oz Mepps Little Wolf spoons, because I am a big fan of spoon fishing and was getting ready for a good trout season. I took this to my local lake to try out. Yesterday, I caught a few bream, and one 11 inch bass, no big deal. Today, I took out a friend to give him a fishing experence, and, this little spoon earned its place in my box. I pulled 8 fish, only one small bream, and the rest bass. The big fish for the day was 2.7 lbs and was taken on the gold and red version of the Little Wolf.

About a month ago, I placed an on-line Mepps order for several spinners. Through a fabulous Mepps promo, I received 2 free "Little Wolf" spoons which I used for the first time yesterday; and what a day!
I had about 2 hours to kill after work, so I decided to hit one of my favorite little streams close to home.
I started out fishing my normal "go-to" lure (a Mepps #1 Aglia Long), and was catching my fair share of fish, when I came to a slightly deeper stretch of water. I was just about to tie on a bottom bouncing lures of some kind, when I rememebered that I had my new "Little Wolf" with me, and thought, "now's as good a time as any to give 'em a try". - Boy, am I glad I had that thought. I caught all of the above mentioned species and then some. I also landed a couple of sauger, and a few spotted bass (one of which was about 2 pounds). In about an hour-and-half, I landed somewhere in the vicinity of 40 fish in all on this lure.
The Mepps "Little Wolf" certainly made a believer out of me, and has been added to my list of favorite lures.

On Friday May 1st at 19:40 hrs while trolling with a Silver/Chartreuse Mepps Little Wolf treble on Cardinal Lake north of Ottawa, I caught a feisty 5 lbs Lake Trout.
I have to admit that I had been trolling with a Fire Tiger Rapala for almost 2 hours before I switched to the only Little Wolf I have in my tackle box.
Believe me or not, my Mepps Little Wolf had been in the water no more than 4 minutes when my rod started to jerk really hard from my first laker of the year.
By the way, I was fishing with a friend of mine who was trolling with a real smelt on his line, he kept fishing with it but caught nothing all evening.
I landed my 5 lb lake trout and released 2 smallmouth bass because they are not in season yet.
What I REALLY like about the Litte Wolf, it doesn't twist my line AT ALL.
It wobbles without spinning when trolling at a normal speed.
Thanks to the creators of that wonderful lure....I'm hooked.

This is BY FAR my favorite Mepps product. I've caught multiple species of fish with my #2 FireTiger but most memorably my first Rainbow Trout ever ! If I could recommend any lure to friends and family this is the one. I just bought the entire # 2 kit to try out at the lakes/ponds in my area.

Once again this product pulled through for me. I caught a 13.5" brookie, then the sun came out. So it was slow for awhile then we went down river about 300 yards I pitched into the river I missed the seam then the second cast was bang on the mark. Then all of a sudden BANG!! On my Little Wolf spoon and I wrestled the brookie for awhile then I got him in. He weighed 2.7 ounces. Thank you Mepps for an AWESOME spoon keep' em coming!

|Fish Caught:||Trout, Rainbow|
I experimented with a variety of spoons in a well stocked trout pond. I tried a 1/8 oz Little Wolf, single hook, with the barb pinched down for catch and release, and it worked exceptionally well. What I especially liked is that the lure continues to wobble well at a very slow retrieve speed, and this was a distinct advantage. Trout were striking it on virtually every cast, and I caught and released quite a few very quickly.

|Fish Caught:||Trout, Brook|
After watching the video of this product it reminded me of an old lure my cousin had. The slow wobble of this spoon made it appealing to me, especially when I first tried it for spring brookies, on the first cast I reeled in and then.......Bang!!! a nice 19 inch brookie. Over the course of the next three days I caught 13 brookies. One word to describe this product awesome!

This is the best spoon ever! Everything about it is first class; its side-to-side up-down wobble, its bright flash after bright flash, its ability to keep wobbling even when you troll it really slow. I have caught big largemouth bass and smallmouth bass on it in lakes and ponds and I've caught nice brookies on it in small streams. It's versatile and best of all it catches fish whereever you throw it. Thanks for making the best spoon ever Mepps!

Man I really like the action of this spoon. Even cranking it V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W it keeps on wobbling. Someone did their homework when they designed this spoon. You might know it's a Mepps.
