Hit the redds again today. Got to this redd with 2 fish spawning. I had this male try to hit 5 times before he finally quit hitting. I'd set the hook and miss everytime with this fish. I dunno how this happens but I did it today. lol After that I moved downstream and found this little fish sitting. He tried to hit and I missed him. Then he moved up a little. So I took a cast at him again and he hit my Mepps good. Landed him. That was all I landed today. I went to another creek and hooked into a nice male that hit from 4 foot away. I dunno how I missed him. It was the perfect hit to see. Oh well I hope they hit good tomorrow. I'm starting to see less and less fish the past 2 days. Don't know how much longer it will last until it's over. We are getting some rain so I hope more fish come up to the redds soon. It's possiable the fish have fell back downstream. This happened at the end of last month and I thought the run was gonna be done then. So maybe in the next few days the fish will push back up. They have been weird this year. Lots of fish moving up and down to different spots on different days. Well I hope I can catch some more fish before the run ends.
