Spent a few hours casting and the bite was not on. Had one 23" pickerel (caught on a hot orange 1 oz Syclops) earlier in the day and saw nothing else. Was just talking with my brother in-law about calling it a day and decided to take a few more casts. This nice northern sucked up the Syclops and the hook was set. After about 4 or 5 runs, she came in for a landing. A few pictures were taken and she was released for another day.
