This was the one fish that got spooked out of the pool and ran downstream when I was fighting my previous fish I caught. I was walking downstream from the pool and saw this fish moving up slowly. I took a cast and noticed the fish showed a bit of interest in my spinner. Right as the fish moved up next to me, I made a perfect cast across the creek. Right when my spinner was in the middle of the creek, my spinner swung right off the fishes nose and she took my spinner perfectly! Got a good hookset and got her in for a photo. Let her go knowing that this is my last steelhead of the spring season. This was the worst spring for fishing in all my life around here. The numbers just were not there. I did have fun though. I hope next year the spring will be better!
