Have been throwing Mepps #2's and #3's for years in this spot on the Niagara River every spring when the smallies move into the great lakes post spawn and every summer, usually in the evenings. The one shown here is about average size for that small stretch of water and they range anywhere from 2 pound chunks to a few pushing 5 pounds on a consistent basis. Love these baits to cover a lot of water and catch even more fish!
