I have fished Brady's Pond since my boyhood days. My largest bass was never more than 3-4 lbs. About a month ago I caught a nice 4 lber on the #3 mepps comet in gold. On the day I caught my 8 pound bass I used the #3 comet minnows in the silver blade. I made a long cast into a moving channel and as soon as I felt the blade spinning the huge bass attacked and put up a great fight. I was able to land the beauty snap a few photos and quick return the bass back into the pond. I believe in conservation and also giving another fisherman the chance to land an 8 lb. Trophy bass.
