I was trolling in 13 feet of water for pike when the smallmouth crushed my Mepps #5 Dressed Aglia. Me and my buddy thought it was a big pike until it levitated out of the water about 20 feet from the boat. We got it to the boat and it thrashed, dove down, made the landing quite difficult. Very happy my buddy knows how to use the net! My personal best for any species of bass… so far.
