It was a cold autumn day and my boyfriend and I decided to go fishing, which was pretty much an everyday thing for us. He took me to a spot I was very unsure of because I've never seen anyone catch a single fish there. We got our poles rigged up and started casting. A few casts in I am already feeling like it's not a good spot. I said to him "let's try somewhere else" and then he encouraged me to keep casting. That very next cast I hooked up this beauty. It was such a fun fight. I've never seen a trout before so I was trying to guess what it was while reeling it in. I've heard big ones like that are not very common in my area so it feels awesome to have caught her!
