Took my kids to the lake on new years day so they could ride the bike. I took my light SHIMANO Sensilite rod to see if I could catch anything. There was a lot of wind so the outlook was bleak. I casted my lure parallel to the bank about 30-40 feet and did a slow retrieve. At first, I thought I got caught on something because it was hard on my lure. Next thing I know the drag starts going and the fish is pulling my line. After adjusting the drag I was able to pull it into the shore. I was SURPISED! it was that big. Super Excited!
