My partner and I went for a walk down a long trail, we had never been down the trail. I had no idea that I was going to see any fish. I got to a beautiful bridge where I thought I might as well throw my reliable Mepps. I casted and did not catch anything and then the second cast I got smacked by a monster spring bass. It jumped and fought and I landed it. I don't know if anything else would have gotten that bass off the pre spawn bed but the Mepps!
