Casting over a rockpile as the sun went down. A really aggressive hit and the fight was on! Smalley's like to jump when hooked and this one launched itself 4 times on the way to the kayak. In New England we describe a fish towing you around as a "Nantucket sleigh ride" this fish gave a full accounting of itself. Nothing like spring cold water Smalleys. Fun! Fun!
