The Mepps Aglia Brown Trout with Gray Squirrel Tail is a go to. We go to Lake Nippissing every year and have our own group tournament. I can bank on the Brown Trout with a Squirrel Tail to catch fish especially casting into the sun and a slow steady retrieve through the tops of weeds in the early evening.

The silver with red is money. I fish this at the dock in the morning and afternoon before and after walleye fishing on Lake Erie. I can remember only one time I didn't catch a bass of some type. The guy I fish with on Lake Erie was so impressed with it that he had to have one. He also has a lot of success with it.

I lost one after a giant sheepshead slammed it at the dock. broke my line and took off with the lure. Had to buy another one and upgraded the line so it didn't happen again.

Lure: Comet Mino Ultra Lites

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)

I use the 00 Comet Mino as my "unfair" advantage, so I never go home skunked. When nothing else works this lure does. Caught lots of 'gills and bass. Too bad they don't make the gold mino anymore, but mine still works.

You can't beat the Mepps grab bag specials!! They always give you a great assortment of spinners and colors. I use these regularly with customers, The Aglia, Black Fury, Syclops, Musky Killer are just a few of my favorites. Love of the surprise of what's in the grab bag since they are always different.
