Today it was snowing, but, my son BJ Jollimore of Calumet, MI asked me to get ready. We'e going fishing for Steelhead at the mouth of the Gratiot on Lake Superior in Ahmeek, MI at the Gratiot River Park near our homes. We had just got back this last week from 4 days of non-stop fishing down state in Oscoda at the Foote Dam on the Ausable River. Three of us fishing and we didn't catch a thing. Then, I come home to the Keweenaw Peninsula and caught this beauty of a Steelhead. I used a MEPPS #5 BLACK FURY because two young fellows were purchasing fishing lures when I was purchasing items needed for our fishing trip and they assured me if I used this lure, I would for sure catch a Steelhead as its the only lure they use for Steelhead fishing. I took their advice and they were right! Thanks MEPPS for making the Worlds #1 Fishing Lures in the world. The #5 BLACK FURY will be on display now with my other lures that have done their job!
