On June 5th, 2010, I had gone out with my aunt to go for really whatever would bite. While we were fishing for crappies, I had one on and something came outta nowhere and took a swipe at it. I then got my rod w/ a #3 Aglia Long on a Medium weight rod with 20 lbs test line. After about the 4th or 5th cast, BAM. It took about 5 minutes to get her in from under the boat and after surfacing and diving about 6 times before landing her. The treble was so stuck in it's mouth that we had to break off one of them. I don't know what I was more scared of: getting such a violent hit, or knowing it was only on 20 lbs test and a Medium weight rod.
