Had some time on my hands today so I went to Pond Bank in Franklin County, PA and decided to relax with an hour or so of fishing. I was casting along a lily pad field and on the 3rd cast was hammered! I had a Quantum Heavy action Tour rod 6'6 and a Quantum MGC 1310 reel 10 lb test with a #4 Mepps Black Fury Chartruse dots and chartruse dressing. This monster bulldogged down into the lily pads and it was a game of see saw for about 5 min. It finally let up and was brought in. It was 24" in length and 18 inches around and weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz. This fish was released in good health!
