One night while not catching any fish off from crankbaits or plastics decided to downsize and begin using spinners. Attached a Aglia Long #1 Silver Blade Rainbow Scale color and the entire evening changed. Ended up catching Largemouth, Pickerel, Yellow Perch, and Crappie. That night I boated 12 fish in 1.5 hours with a very nice 1.5lb Crappie for the main course. This Crappie hit the lure like a ton of bricks and made the light weight reel sing for joy. Since this day my son and I have been out having multiple fish on multiple night experiences. The only issue we encountered is that all fish like this lure and have done damage to the small treble hook. Upsizing to a #2 and #3 Blade did not produce the same experience.
