Took this out to a city lake where they stock Rainbow trout. Caught my limit of trout and then catfish starting hitting too. Caught the limit of catfish allowed in the lake as well. Made for a great day of fishing.

I am a 45 year old woman I have been fishing since I was 3 years old. First started with my grandfather. He had always used nothing but Mepps spinners. So I followed in his foot steps. I try new lures on occasion but have found its a waste of time for me. I will only use Mepps to catch the fish!!! They are the best!!

Just a few days ago, I waded into a shallow stretch of the Cumberland River, and over a four hour period, I caught and released 44 rainbow trout, many of which were well over 14-15 inches. The undressed Mepps Aglia, size 0 and 1, with brass or nickel blades accounted for the majority of the fish caught. I have been a trout fisherman for about 29 years, both spin and fly tackle, and I would never seriously consider spin fishing for trout without a box of Aglias, Black Furies, and Aglia Spin-flies. Mepps simply manufactures the best commercially available spinners in the world. Bottom line.

These lures work! Ive never had a catfish hit harder then they do with these. Cast them toward cover and let them settle before you reel. If the fish are feeding its a guaranteed strike.

I have found a favorite with the Aglia Long #2 w/ hot Firetiger blade. Within the last week, I have caught Crappie, Bluegill, Large and Small-mouth, and believe it or not several Catfish (on a spinner!)I love it.
