2005 - July Testimonials

Kelly Humber – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Lure: Thunder Bug

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth

This lure is absolutely unstopable. It regularly produces monster smallmouth in the Milwaukee River, and I wisely chose to take it on my recent Boundary Waters trip. There I was inundated with bass and northern that couldn't get enough of it's realism. I swear by the Thunder Bug.

Gene – Missoula, Montana

Lure: Timber Doodle

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

I purchased a Timber Doodle to take on a Saskatchewan fishing trip. It was a whim. Something about it caught my eye. When I pulled it out of my tackle box on Limestone Lake, Bill, my fishing partner looked at it and said, "You'll never catch anything on that!" Two casts later I caught the largest northern of our two week trip.

It's the perfect lure in my book. It casts well, has a great action, a single hook which makes it easy to release fish, and works well in weedy pike habitat. Plus it was something I could needle Bill with for the rest of the trip.

Arthur Kreis – Wolcott, Vermont

Lure: Pro's Choice for Bass

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

My fishing buddy and I were fishing in a boat on Woodbury lake, VT when he showed me his Pro Series Bass set. I tied on the Timber Doodle from the set. After 3-4 cast I noticed a nice fish following the Timber Doodle in. I cast again and wham he bit! I started to reel and after I finally finished reeling and found a 16" inch, 2 lb. Largemouth

Sean Eslick – Coppell, Texas

Lure: Bantam Syclops

I love this lure! I always attatch a fly to it's back so I can cast it with a spincasting reel.
