I spent 160 dollars to get the free hoodie that was offered for orders 150 dollars. First, the hoodie and hat are excellent quality. Absolutely love them. I grew up with a father that taught me Mepps are the best. I moved to an area that wasn't great for fishing without a boat and got big into catfishing on the bottom with live bait. Well, I moved back to Michigan and realized I needed to get back into lure fishing. I thought 150 dollars might be a little extreme, so I decided to catalog the fish I caught to see if the money was worth it. Here's where I'm at a month in fishing exclusively with my Mepps order:Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

As a kid I grew up using Mepps, in WI and MN. The 21 years I was in the Army, I didn't fish at all. After retirement my wife told me, I needed a hobby, so I took up fishing again, after nearly 25 years. And went and bought a bunch of Mepps and other lures. I can't lie, I am a spinner loving fisherman. Over the last 3 years I have used Mepps almost exclusively. And mainly the Aglia dressed #5 and #3. I have caught tons of fish with them, from Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Small Mouth, Walleye, Bowfin, Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass. I have been to Mepps in Antigo three times with friends to take the tour and get resupplied on my selection. Each time Bev and the crew have been awesome, and a big thanks to them.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I was fishing at Wellers Bay Saturday 07/08/2017 for pike and walleye when I caught a 50 inch musky on a Mepps Comet #5 BRASS. It took probably 1/2 hour to get in his head only fit in my small net . I had to wear him out and finally had his head in the net and grabbed his tail also, to get him in the boat . I don't take my phone with me when I am up there (so I have no picture ) I was shaking with excitement for day's .Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

The Mepps #3 gold with the brown tail is by far my favorite lure in my tackle box. I will not head out fishing if I don't have one. I have caught all of the fish listed above on a gold #3 with a brown tail. I typically target Northern pike, but will frequently catch Bass, and other fish, unintentionally. The best pike I ever caught was around 40 inches, but I have caught countless others over the years. Whenever someone asks my advice on fishing, I recommend the Mepps #3 and tell them that is all they will ever need.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Bowfin - Crappie (Black) - Pickerel
I use the Mepps #3 or #4 gold spoon and white skirt. Man in the Tran will tell you its the best darn thing since Larry the cable guy. This lure will catch anything and everything. I out fish everybody. They be using all sorts of fancy doodads and whatnots but my simple Mepps always catch me more bigger better fish every time. I usually fish that Blackwater River its got alot of different type of fish and my one lure will catch them all. Before I found the Mepps, I couldn't get no more than an occasional bite. Now when I go fishing, I catch tons of fish. Thank you Mepps you made my fishing better.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I bought this lure at Bass Pro Shops a while ago. While fishing in a local marina one day, nearly every cast was another catch. I have used it at fishing derby's the past two years and have won for biggest fish both years. Can't express my newly found love for these lures!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bowfin
My dad, brother and I have fished a small pond that feeds in and out of a creek for about 4 years now. We had been fishing with just a worm and bobber for about 3 of them and only caught carp, bullheads, sunfish, and the occasional small bass. Then, this year we tried some old Mepps that my dad had and I could not believe the results! We usually use a Mepps #3 in any lighter color because of the muddy water. But, everytime we use the Mepps, we catch the most and biggest bass we have ever seen out of such a small creek. We, today, caught about 15 1-3 pound bass in just about 2 hours! Such a great lure! Thanks Mepps company! I have never seen a lure so good!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I use the #3 squirrel tail/silver blade, along with some custom made Mepps. I always have at least one pole with it on, sometimes 3 poles. I outfish everyone with this lure alone.
