Nothing in my tackle box has had more bites. That poor, rubber minnow has suffered such abuse at the teeth of many a pike. I won't go fishing without this.Lure: Aglia Streamer

I've caught tons of fish on my Comet Mino, but the most excellent fish I caught was a 39in. northern pike. It was massive. It had a diameter of 15in. It took an hour to fillet it. And the same day I caught a huge 28in walleye. I'm for sure telling everyone I know about your guy's Comet Mino. I have never caught so many fish on one lure. I'm a 14 year old kid from Minnesota that doesn't have a job, but loves to go fishing and never, I mean never, had so much fun with one lure. I'm for sure going to save up some money to buy another one of these. I'll make sure everyone I know, knows about these.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Hands down my go-to lure catches everything from perch to muskie! Everytime I fish in a group it out fishes all other lures at least 2 to 1! Thanks Mepps!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
Caught and released nice 4 lb northern on Boot Lake, Becker County MN. Used Brown #3 Mepps Agila. Mepps is the best lure that you can find.Lure: Minos
Fish Caught: Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Rainbow
I love Mepps!! I only really use Mepps, not just spinners, but, I ordered replacement Minos and use them on spring crappie and sunny spawn. I catch 3 fish to everyone else's!!! How you ask? I don't have to get a minnow out of minnow bucket! Plus, I use Mepps on fly rods with a sight indicator. Between St. Croix and Mepps I will continue to dominate anyone I fish with!!!Lure: Double Blade Musky Marabou
Fish Caught: Musky
In my opinion Mepps are the greatest lures on the planet. So when my uncle took me out for my first time ever musky fishing, and pulled out a Mepps Musky Marabou for me to use, I felt very comfortable and had a lot of confidence using it. About an hour into fishing, I hooked up on my first musky! Landed him, it measured 46 inches and was over 20 pounds. I'll always remember that first musky and the Mepps I caught it on.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern
I caught a 26", 33", 23" Northern Pike and a 15" Smallmouth Bass at Lake Vermillion using a #5 Mepps Aglia. They were all caught in weedy and rocky areas in a bay and put up quite a fight.Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
As ridiculous as this lure looks it has caught more northerns than any other lure in my tackle box. The spinning blade attracts them while the body provides something for them to home in on so the northerns rarely miss. I used one with a #3 silver blade because that was the biggest one I could find and it caught fish. I recently ordered a big one with a #5 gold blade because I have had good luck with gold and I'm glad I did. Thanks Mepps!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye
In July of 2011 I was fishing (trolling) on Lake Plantagenet using a #4 Mepps Dressed Aglia Hot Firetiger with a brown tail when I caught a 41 inch Musky. You can only imagine how excited I was to catch the "fish of 10,000 casts" - especially since we weren't fishing for Muskies and none of us had ever caught one before! But the story doesn't end there. One year later, in July of 2012, I caught two more Muskies using the SAME LURE on the SAME LAKE in the SAME SPOT! What incredible luck - or what an incredible lure!! I love my Mepps!Lure: Syclops Lite
Fish Caught: Musky
A few casts into my very first time using my new Syclops Lite lure, I landed a 27" musky. Fishing from shore, off a pier, it hit the Silver-Hot Orange/Lime lure just off the weedline.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bowfin
My dad, brother and I have fished a small pond that feeds in and out of a creek for about 4 years now. We had been fishing with just a worm and bobber for about 3 of them and only caught carp, bullheads, sunfish, and the occasional small bass. Then, this year we tried some old Mepps that my dad had and I could not believe the results! We usually use a Mepps #3 in any lighter color because of the muddy water. But, everytime we use the Mepps, we catch the most and biggest bass we have ever seen out of such a small creek. We, today, caught about 15 1-3 pound bass in just about 2 hours! Such a great lure! Thanks Mepps company! I have never seen a lure so good!Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
We recently took a week of vacation to Lake Winni in Northern Minnesota with my cousin, for some Pike fishing. Not fished for these fish much before, I tried the normal spoon style lures you hear about. The first day I only caught one Norhtern late in the afternoon. Day 2, I switched over to the only lure I had been able to find at any store, which was the #3 Silver Syclops. I had been told to try to get some of these lures but we could not find a store anywhere that had them, except for one little sporting goods store in Minnesota that had 1, #3 Silver Syclops! I immediately started catching fish and this lure became the hot lure of the trip. I was amazed! There were times when I was the only one catching fish on the boat! I had a hot streak on one afternoon of 7, 30" plus Northerns in about 30 minutes! It was a blast! After a week of Pike fishing and loosing track of fish count caught, (I caught and landed at least 35 large northerns) I am completely sold on these lures. Alot were in the low 30" range weighing around 9 - 10 pounds each. It was awesome! I am going to stock up on more Syclops #3 lures for the next trip! Thanks Mepps!Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Walleye
Last year a friend and went on an all day fishing excursion on Lake Winnie. Both of us used the Syclops which is the only lure I carry when fishing for pike. We ended up with 46 Northern and 1 walleye on the day. A few in the 8 pound range but mostly 1-5 pounders. It was the best day of fishing I have ever had in my life and I owe it all to the Syclops. We were using Blue/Silver and Silver/Pink. Both #3's.Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
One of my cousin's buddies came up to our cabin for a weekend just to try to catch some fish. We have been fishing this lake for years and never caught a fish as big as the one he caught. A 42 inch northern. Ever since then, my cousin and I have used the same lure, a green/ orange #3 Mepps Syclops. We had never even heard of the lure before, but, now it is our favorite to fan cast the weed lines!!Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
This past weekend I thought I would try one of the many other lures for the first time and ran across the Mepps Comet Mino with the silver spinner on it and it was the only lure I used. I pulled in a 25" and 26" northern, a few more little one's and then a couple of large mouths. Man,. I was really impressed with this warrior.Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
I caught the biggest fish of my life on a Comet Mino from a dock in about 3 feet of water. When I got there they all told me to use a red and white Daredevil, I tied on a Comet Mino Super Mino that my dad gave me. Some of the guys kinda snickered when they saw me put that big lure on and cast it out. They all got excited when I pulled in that big pike though. Great lure, too bad the body got chewed up and none of the stores around here sell replacements.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Pike, Northern
I fish this lure from shore in about 4 feet of water in a weedy area and the pike go nuts for it it works well reeling it in fast. It gets huge northern, this lure is just awesome for big bass and northern pike.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
Mille Lacs is widely known for it's "killer" walleye in the summer, and the frenzied perch in the winter. One fish that the lake is not known for is it's pike. Northern is what you might classify as a long lost secret. I discovered this secret shortly after my purchase of the Black Fury. I was on a, "well", tackle binge and I bought almost anything and everything. About a week or so after I went out to the lake, just for a cast or two, I went through a couple of lures with almost no luck. I was about to pack up and call it a day when I decided to use the Black Fury and, well, it lived up to it's name. The northern pike would not stop biting! It was the most fun I have ever had fishing. From that day on the Black Fury has become my lure of choice!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Pike, Northern - Walleye
I suppose I'm violating the cardinal rule of fishing - never divulge the secret weapon. However, the secret to outfishing your friends is the #3 Red/White Aglia with brown dressing. That lure has never failed me when the fish are biting at all. I've caught bass, northern pike and even a couple walleyes! Its my lure of choice.
