I am a 45 year old woman I have been fishing since I was 3 years old. First started with my grandfather. He had always used nothing but Mepps spinners. So I followed in his foot steps. I try new lures on occasion but have found its a waste of time for me. I will only use Mepps to catch the fish!!! They are the best!!

Bob – Brunswick Hills, Ohio

Lure: Syclops

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White

The silver with red is money. I fish this at the dock in the morning and afternoon before and after walleye fishing on Lake Erie. I can remember only one time I didn't catch a bass of some type. The guy I fish with on Lake Erie was so impressed with it that he had to have one. He also has a lot of success with it.

I lost one after a giant sheepshead slammed it at the dock. broke my line and took off with the lure. Had to buy another one and upgraded the line so it didn't happen again.

Captain Jeff – Chautauqua Lake, New York

You can't beat the Mepps grab bag specials!! They always give you a great assortment of spinners and colors. I use these regularly with customers, The Aglia, Black Fury, Syclops, Musky Killer are just a few of my favorites. Love of the surprise of what's in the grab bag since they are always different. And I like trying spinners and colors I would not have normally chosen, then have them catch lots of fish. Thank you Shep/ The Mepps Man! -Capt Jeff

Paul Donovan – Erie Canal, New York

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye

Hi
I wanted to share this story. I live on the Erie canal. In an approximately 50 yard stretch in a single day. Over approximately a 2 hour window, I caught the 7 different species of fish that I marked above using the same #2 plain silver Aglia. I found that to be quite remarkable and wanted to share this and let you know what a great product you have.

Avery Woods – Pine Lake Waverly Ohio, Ohio

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bass, White

Best product I've ever used is the Comet Mino #3 Shad to catch large and small mouth bass!

Ethan Koski – Basswood Lake, BWCA, Minnesota

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye

I've caught tons of fish on my Comet Mino, but the most excellent fish I caught was a 39in. northern pike. It was massive. It had a diameter of 15in. It took an hour to fillet it. And the same day I caught a huge 28in walleye. I'm for sure telling everyone I know about your guy's Comet Mino. I have never caught so many fish on one lure. I'm a 14 year old kid from Minnesota that doesn't have a job, but loves to go fishing and never, I mean never, had so much fun with one lure. I'm for sure going to save up some money to buy another one of these. I'll make sure everyone I know, knows about these.

Deloria James – Great Lakes And Tributaries, Michigan

Lure: Aglia BRITE

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Carp - Crappie (Black) - Grayling - Pike, Northern - Salmon, Coho (silver) - Salmon, Pink - Steelhead - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Lake - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye - Salmon, Chinook (king)

At 64 I've fished extensively throughout the Upper midwest from Northern Lower Mi. to Northern Mn. and everywhere in between for over 50 years. I am never without multiple styles and sizes of Mepps spinners. They have been my "go-to" lure all my life and I've caught everything I fish for on them. They always produce when nothing else will and never disappoint. This new "Aglia BRITE is my new favorite style. It amazes me that I will catch fish with it when with buddies who are using something else get skunked. Keep supplying us with these!

Matthew Hoxit – French Broad, North Carolina

Lure: XD

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Lake - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye

By far the best spinners I have ever used. I swear by them. I literally catch my limit every time I go fishing. I will never use anything else!!

Bob Scriven – Great Sacandaga Lake, New York

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye - Catfish, Bullhead (brown, yellow & black)

I love my dressed aglia with a copper blade and black tail. I catch all kinds of fish with this thing. All of my friends don't believe me when I tell them I catch so many fish, until I take them out on my boat and show them. Once they see how many and how fast I catch them they all want to know how to get their own lure. So I tell them to get on the Mepps website and order their own. I have a lot of aglia lures with all different color blades and tails, but it seems the fish just can't resist the copper and black. Thanks Mepps for making fishing so much fun!!!

Robert Reeder – Any Where, Indiana

Kevin – Culver Lake Branchville, New Jersey

Lure: XD

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Barracuda

The dressed XD size 3 with white (silver blade) and yellow (gold blade) is a killer for the hybrids. I tend to troll with these lures and it doesn't take long. It also attracts all the other fish in the lake. If it wasn't for the pickerel I wouldn't need to order so many of these :)

Thomas Nichols – Bangor, Maine

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth

This is my go to lure, I love this lure, what more can I say, its a "killer". If you haven't tried one DO IT!! You will not regret it. Just pick the size you need. AWESOME!!

Seth Farley – Surry, Virginia

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Bowfin - Crappie (Black) - Pickerel

I use the Mepps #3 or #4 gold spoon and white skirt. Man in the Tran will tell you its the best darn thing since Larry the cable guy. This lure will catch anything and everything. I out fish everybody. They be using all sorts of fancy doodads and whatnots but my simple Mepps always catch me more bigger better fish every time. I usually fish that Blackwater River its got alot of different type of fish and my one lure will catch them all. Before I found the Mepps, I couldn't get no more than an occasional bite. Now when I go fishing, I catch tons of fish. Thank you Mepps you made my fishing better.

Don Nelson – Coffee County Lake, Kansas

Lure: Bass Pocket Pac - #3 XD Dressed

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bass, White - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Walleye

I have been trolling spinners and crankbaits for 30 years. I have tried every spinner on the market. For 2 years I fished the pro bass circuit in the 70s. I fish at least 2 days a week. When you are tolling there is absoleutly nothing that will catch as many fish as the Mepps XD spinners. You need to use a ball bearing swivel and 10lb braid line or 8lb monofilament line. Saturday my son and I went fishing and caught one 5lb Walleye, 3 crappie over 12" and 19 white bass on these Mepps XD spinners. We also caught 12 hybrids that were an average of 2 lbs. And, we threw back 6 crappies over 11" long. The Mepps XD is the most reliable bait you can use while casting or trolling.

William Jackson – Guadalupe River, Kerrville, Cibilo Creek, Cibilo, Texas

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Blue - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Rainbow

I am 53 and have been fishing Mepps spinners since I was 4 years old from as far north as Fairbanks, Alaska, to as far south as Oakville, Texas. When it seems that nothing is biting, the Mepps Comet Minos sizes 00, 1, 2, or 3, always save the day as do the Aglia with squirrel tails. I saw my father catch Salmon and Grayling on Mepps while I have caught Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth bass, Spotted Bass, Guadalupe Bass, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Green Sunfish, Longear Sunfish, Redear Sunfish, Redspotted Sunfish, Warmmouth, Rock Bass, White and Black Crappie, Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and once a silver shad. I have caught panfish barely larger than the lure to Bass over 4 pounds. All the Mepps products are winners. They are fantastic.

Robert Yanos – Birdsboro, Pa, Pennsylvania

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim)

With these lures I almost always catch a fish(there isn't a large population of fish where I fish). I only have 5 different colors of the size 2, but they're all I need(unless I lose one). I caught the largest and most hard fighting freshwater fish of my life with a size 2 silver blade brown tail dressed Aglia. It was a 16 inch smallmouth(where I fish there isn't a big food source so that's just about as big as they get). This bait must of made the bass strike out of agression because when it hit I literally got mad because I thought it was a snag. Too bad I didn't have a scale with me(probably 2+ pounds.) Also when I got the lure out, I pulled all the dressing off the tail:( When I'm fishing for bass, sometimes, I get a real nice sized rock bass and they hit and fight hard also a really tough fighter for it's size. Again, I think they bite out of pure agression or they are just REALLY hungry. Hope you catch something "wait", let me rephrase that, "catch something big." You won't regret buying this lure. I've tried rooster tails, but the wire is cheap and bends with some of the smallest panfish. Another thing wrong with the rooster tail is that I found with some you have to dry them off or they rust with in a couple of weeks or so. Aslo it can be hard to make the spoon spin with them, but the Aglia's once they hit the water they start spinning.
I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH GET A MEPPS DRESSED AGLIA.

Matt Kiekintveld – Pickeral Lake, Newago, Michigan

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Pike, Northern

All I have to say is dang! It seems to me that my white Mepps is one of the greatest lures in my tackle box, it hasn't failed me yet, I consistently catch some great northerns on it, when all else fails, my Mepps doesn't let me down, it kills me inside anytime I lose one, this is by far one of my favorite lures, hands down one of the greatest ever made in my opinion.

Alex – Big Stone Lake, Three Lakes , Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern

If it swims this lure will catch it!

Joe Knoernschild – Oconomowoc, WI & River, MO, Wisconsin

Lure: Thunder Bug

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker)

This is the best lure I have ever used. I started using these on Oconomowoc River in WI. I needed something light that could work in a current with average depth of 2 feet. I fish with 00 and 0 size lures. There is nothing I have found that does a better job catching fish. Usually my first cast with one of these produces an instant fish. I have been using Thunder Bugs for over 10 years now and love them.

I was visiting WI this last week and went out on the river again. I caught 3 16" northern pike off of it. The Grasshopper color has worked best and Cricket the second. I also like the Firefly and Bumblebee.

There is no lure I would rather have with me plus they can take a beating. Buy these and you won't be disappointed.

Bassman – Lake Livingston, Livingston, Texas

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Striped - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow

I've been bass fishing for 35 years, I caught my first 9 1/2 lb bass on a Fluorescent Orange Mepps Black Fury . Chartreuse Mepps Black Fury #3 is my best friend. When I don't want to search a long time for bass, I'll use the Black Fury, with the first 2 cast if I don't get any hits I'll move. Normally within 2 cast the fish are there. I've caught 2 to 3 lb crappie easy. This is the BEST lure made , next to the plastic worm . lol

Curtis Kortman – Big Wabasis Lake, Kent County, Near Rockford, Michigan

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern

I recently went fishing with my grandpa who has all the gear and tackle but not the most know-how. I told him how when whenever I go fishing we always use Mepps spinners #3 and it is very rare that we ever go fishing without catching something. He didn't believe me at first, but he had a lot of Mepps in his box he said his friend had given him but he thought they weren't worth anything. He started to throw one out and about 15 minutes later he was hooked. He caught a 32" northern the first time we went out. Now whenever I ask him what he's going to use I know its going to be some kind of Mepps and we always catch fish.

Jonathan N – Tuscarawras River, Akron

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Rock

I went fishing late (around 6:30) nobody was catching anything. then I brought along my only lure. After a couple minutes of searching for a good spot, I casted out and this 1lb average rock (warmouth) bass was caught. Good for every thing!!

Jeffrey Voss – Rock Creek, Imperial, Missouri

Lure: Little Wolf

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Channel - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye

About a month ago, I placed an on-line Mepps order for several spinners. Through a fabulous Mepps promo, I received 2 free "Little Wolf" spoons which I used for the first time yesterday; and what a day!
I had about 2 hours to kill after work, so I decided to hit one of my favorite little streams close to home.
I started out fishing my normal "go-to" lure (a Mepps #1 Aglia Long), and was catching my fair share of fish, when I came to a slightly deeper stretch of water. I was just about to tie on a bottom bouncing lures of some kind, when I rememebered that I had my new "Little Wolf" with me, and thought, "now's as good a time as any to give 'em a try". - Boy, am I glad I had that thought. I caught all of the above mentioned species and then some. I also landed a couple of sauger, and a few spotted bass (one of which was about 2 pounds). In about an hour-and-half, I landed somewhere in the vicinity of 40 fish in all on this lure.
The Mepps "Little Wolf" certainly made a believer out of me, and has been added to my list of favorite lures.

Frank Benning – Waterford MI, All Lakes, Michigan

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Bowfin - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker)

I use the #3 squirrel tail/silver blade, along with some custom made Mepps. I always have at least one pole with it on, sometimes 3 poles. I outfish everyone with this lure alone.

Derrick Broeckel – Northern Wisconsin Lakes, Wisconsin

Lure: Thunder Bug

Fish Caught: Bass, Rock - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Sunfish (shellcracker)

This is the best panfish lure Mepps makes especially the #00 size. I like to suspend it from a bobber and tip with a tiny piece of nightcrawler. When you shake the bobber the blade goes crazy and it brings the fish into your bait like a cat to catnip. The panfish you catch are usually bigger than with a plain hook as well. I like the Cricket color alot as well as the all silver bait.

Benjamin Christopher – Waterford, Michigan

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye

I use the #4 dressed Aglia I own almost every one. It by far is my best lure. It always delivers the big bass. I use a lot of rooster tail style lures and the biggist problem with them is keeping the spoon spinning. The Aglia hits the water and ALWAYS spins giving off a perfict vibration. I have even landed big hits, mear seconds after hitting the water.

bass 2lbs+, pike 35in+, shellcracker, walleye they all get it good.

Steven Beam – Streams Across Northwest Arkansas, Arkansas

Lure: Spin Flies

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brown - Trout, Cutthroat - Trout, Rainbow

These lures are great all-purpose lures. I like wade fishing the streams around my house and making as many trips as I can to trout streams in Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri. These little things are killers on them. Wading the streams, I just pack a few lures and always have a white, green, and brown Wooly Worm and sometimes nothing else. My only complaint is that I wish more shops carried them.
