Paul Falzarano – Cobham Morley, Ontario , Canada

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

By far the best lures made anywhere . Your online catalog is superb, outstanding service and quality

Mark Cox – Cuyahoga River, Akron, Ohio

Lure: Musky Killer

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

Where I normally fish is 2 to 5 feet deep with a slow current and a ton of logs and submerged debris. Last summer I decided to try a Mepps Musky Killer in the river. I was at first afraid that I would get a ton of snags with a heavy spinner. The Mepps Musky Killer worked SUPER! I could keep it running just under the surface. One afternoon my friend and I caught 11 pike on Musky Killers. Most over 30 inches (which are very nice for Ohio). I also caught a 36 inch pike and bunch of others this summer. Check them out in the Photo Section on this web site or see the video I posted on the Mepps Facebook page. CHOMP!!!!!

Adrian Webb – Meander, Leven,Dasher, Mersey Rivers, Tasmania Australia

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Trout, Brown - Trout, Rainbow

Well, thanks to the great product that Mepps produce. I have managed to win the Ulverstone Angling Club trophy for the fifth year in a row. I caught a total of 871 Brown & Rainbow trout for the season of which only 10 per cent were kept. The Black Fury in the various colours caught 80 percent of the fish and the rest were taken on Aglia,Comet & Thunder Bug spinners of different colours also. If it wasn't for this great product, I don't think I would have had the success that I have had. Thanks again, Mepps, for producing such a great variety of fishing lures.

Jake – Private Pond, Springfield, Illinois

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

The Comet Mino is my go to lure for any fishing situation. I was fishing in a large pond and had just recently bought the number 4 Comet Mino, the biggest I could find, and tried it out. I had great success 2 very nice 2-3 pound largemouths. The most dissapointing part of the day was when I hooked onto a monster largemouth (6+ pounds) and he threw the hook 5 feet from shore... but still a great day. Thanks MEPPS for making my trips succesful.

Ryan Vanne – Manitowoc River, Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia BRITE

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Salmon, Coho (silver) - Steelhead - Trout, Brown - Salmon, Chinook (king)

I have been fishing the Manitowoc River for over 15 years now but never have I caught so many fish than on the new Aglia BRITE #3 Orange-Gold. October 5th was the first huge day as I reeled in an 11 lb. steelhead, a 7 lb. brown trout, 2 coho salmon about 5 lbs. each, 2 chinook salmon each over 10 lbs., and 3 smallmouth bass over 18". I caught all these fish on the Aglia BRITE in a span of about 50 minutes in the same hole. My go to was always the #3 Aglia dressed, but, I may have a new favorite. Either way these lures are deadly.

Adrian Webb – Lake Barrington, Sheffield, Tasmania. Australia

Lure: Aglia Long

Fish Caught: Salmon, Atlantic

On hearing that the Inland Fisheries had just released 700 large Atlantic Salmon into Lake Barrington which is only 15kms from home, I decided to go and fish for them. On arrival, the lake was like a sheet of glass not a ripple any where, so, I headed down to fish off one of the pontoons set on the lake edge. I attached my Aglia Long Rainbo Scale (No.5) to my line and started casting, after 30 minutes, I hooked and landed a well conditioned 4.6kg.fish. Another victim of a great Mepps product.

Jason Allen – Endicott, New York

Lure: Musky Killer

Fish Caught: Musky

If I had one lure to use to catch a big Musky, I would choose the Mepps Musky Killer with gold blade and yellow- enough said!

Puck –

Lure: XD

Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow

The XD #0 Gold blade/Gold body dressed has to be one of the best lures money can buy. In one day, I caught 12 rainbow trout until my knot snapped after I got the fish in. I really love it. Except if you're not careful you can bend the shaft, but won't damage it at all. Keep up the good work Mepps.

Bob Hayett – North Garnett Lake, Garnett, Kansas

Lure: Thunder Bug

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Sunfish (shellcracker)

I'm a long-time Mepps fisherman. Just recently tried the Thunder Bug line. I'm catching an astonishing number of panfish on the Cricket color (dark gray), both single and treble hooks, both plain and dressed. Can't wait to try the other colors.

Joe M. – Salt Creek, Portage , Indiana

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Salmon, Chinook (king)

I was using a Mepps Aglia #3 hot orange. On my third cast, I caught a 9 1/2 lb 30 inch Chinook. I've been fishing since I was 5 years old. I'm 41 and have used Mepps my whole life. I LOVE THESES LURES.I don't know how many fish I've caught with Mepps lures but I have confidence every time I use them.

THANKS Mepps!

John Bailey – Lake Winnibigoshish , Minnesota

Lure: Syclops

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

We recently took a week of vacation to Lake Winni in Northern Minnesota with my cousin, for some Pike fishing. Not fished for these fish much before, I tried the normal spoon style lures you hear about. The first day I only caught one Norhtern late in the afternoon. Day 2, I switched over to the only lure I had been able to find at any store, which was the #3 Silver Syclops. I had been told to try to get some of these lures but we could not find a store anywhere that had them, except for one little sporting goods store in Minnesota that had 1, #3 Silver Syclops! I immediately started catching fish and this lure became the hot lure of the trip. I was amazed! There were times when I was the only one catching fish on the boat! I had a hot streak on one afternoon of 7, 30" plus Northerns in about 30 minutes! It was a blast! After a week of Pike fishing and loosing track of fish count caught, (I caught and landed at least 35 large northerns) I am completely sold on these lures. Alot were in the low 30" range weighing around 9 - 10 pounds each. It was awesome! I am going to stock up on more Syclops #3 lures for the next trip! Thanks Mepps!

Andy – Lakes, Ponds, Streams..., Massachusetts

Lure: Aglia Streamer

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Trout, Brown

Bought them in Maine never having tried them before. Typically fish for Bass with soft baits and other spinners. With other guys in the boat catching nothing, these still find fish. Completely sold on them for all types of fishing in New England. Stronger hooks would be better though. Heavier set ups would be nice too for bigger fish. The treble hooks do make for a few more landings. I find the brown color works best for more species, but all have caught fish every time I tie one on the line. I would absolutely buy a wider variety of larger sizes and colors if they were available.

Alan R. Smith – Washago Pond, Willow Metropark, Michigan

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Crappie (Black)

The first time I used a Black Fury Dressed treble, I caught a Largemouth Bass. There have been days when this is the only lure that has produced. A #3 Flourescent Orange and #4 Yellow have been equally successful. To my surprise, I landed an 11 inch, 1+ pound Black Crappie using a #4 Yellow Black Fury. I had no clue that such large Crappie were in this pond.

Puck – Mantua Reservoir, Utah

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow

The #0 Aglia plain treble is one of the best lures money can buy with the rainbow trout blade. I have caught bluegill, sunfish and bass one day on the water with my brand new copper #0 Aglia. I casted out to catch some of the big bluegill at Mantua Reservoir. I casted 3 or 4 times and all of a sudden my drag started going and I felt a thousand puonds on the end of my line. I got it closer to shore and I saw it was a gigantic rainbow 17.5 inches long 2.5 to 3 pounds....great catch for a brand new lure. Thanks Mepps, keep up the good work!

John Cambis – Five Lakes , Connecticut

Lure: Little Wolf

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

Bought two 1/8 oz Mepps Little Wolf spoons, because I am a big fan of spoon fishing and was getting ready for a good trout season. I took this to my local lake to try out. Yesterday, I caught a few bream, and one 11 inch bass, no big deal. Today, I took out a friend to give him a fishing experence, and, this little spoon earned its place in my box. I pulled 8 fish, only one small bream, and the rest bass. The big fish for the day was 2.7 lbs and was taken on the gold and red version of the Little Wolf.

Mark W. Emmith – Central Maine, Maine

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, White - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern

There are some days when we will fish with only one lure, and that is, the #5 Aglia dressed white with a silver blade. On every trip to Maine, we stop at Cabela's and buy as many as they have because we know they will be beaten to a pulp.
They are attacked by pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and northern pike. It is a phenomenal lure and will oftentimes save a trip from being blah. Thanks MEPPS!

John Wagner – Phillips Chain Of Lakes, Phillips, Wisconsin

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Musky

I am 13 years old, and I was fishing with my uncle and dad in Wisconsin. For almost the whole trip, I was fishing the Mepps Black Fury Killer Combo number 4. I was catching a lot of small nothern pike. Then, I cast and hooked into a once in a life time musky. It was 46 inches long. I am glad that I was using the Black Fury and will be telling my friends about my catch and lure that made it happen. Awesome!

Gary Abarr – San Gregorio Lake, New Mexico

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Trout, Lake

I was using an Aglia BOST 1/12 S-G Mepps made for me. I netted a 14in big fat Lake trout with it. I have also caught many, many fish on this special lure. It's one of my favorite lures, and I can't thank Mepps enough. Mepps 1/12 Aglia is one of the best lures out there.

Matt Kiekintveld – Pickeral Lake, Newago, Michigan

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Pike, Northern

All I have to say is dang! It seems to me that my white Mepps is one of the greatest lures in my tackle box, it hasn't failed me yet, I consistently catch some great northerns on it, when all else fails, my Mepps doesn't let me down, it kills me inside anytime I lose one, this is by far one of my favorite lures, hands down one of the greatest ever made in my opinion.

Tj Marks – Brashears Creek Spencer County , Kentucky

Lure: Thunder Bug

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Carp - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black)

These lures work! Ive never had a catfish hit harder then they do with these. Cast them toward cover and let them settle before you reel. If the fish are feeding its a guaranteed strike.

Julian – Presumpscot River, Westbrook, Maine

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Trout, Brook

I've been using my size 1 Aglia dressed treble for two days, and have already landed 6 fish with it! This lure is amazing, I would highly recommend it to anyone, and it's the first thing I go to now!

Ryan Running Wolf – Southfork Milk Rover, Browning, Montana, Montana

Lure: Aglia BRITE

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

I caught this 33 in. and 12lbs. Northern Pike in a creek.

John – My Friend's Pond, Maryland

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

I've used every lure you can think, but never a Mepps. I've caught plenty of fish up to about 6 inches. Then I bought a Mepps. In 2 hours, my friend and I caught 9 bass all about a foot long except one that was 16 inches and 2.5 pounds. That is the biggest bass I've ever caught. We caught all of these using Mepps #2 plain Aglia plain trebles with gold blades. Thanks Mepps! You just gave me my most memorable fishing trip ever!

Josh – A Lake....., Indiana

Lure: Aglia Long

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth

Well one day I went fishing at my favorite fishing hole. I was using my Aglia Long treble hook Rainbo Scale. As I was reeling it in I caught a 14 incher bass! At a diffrent lake later I caught another bass. Both bass caught on my Aglia Long, I've been testing it now its more into summer and haven't had any luck. I think they like this color in Spring. Try it in Spring. I also one was reeling it in and felt a bite and set the hook but didn't feel anything so as I was pulling it up I saw a 2 inch bluegill on it!

Mark – Mississippi River, Black River, Lake Onalaska, Wisconsin

Lure: Comet Mino

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye

I'm completely In Love with this lure. I came across it a few years ago. And it quickly became my "lucky" lure. It's pretty much all I use. I try it right away everywhere I stop. And you can seem to use it anywhere. And you never know what might hit. I feel completely heartbroken every time I lose one. Most of the time it's been to gigantic fish that broke the line, or other faults of mine.

Bob – Garnett North Lake, Kansas

Lure: Thunder Bug

I caught numerous LARGE bluegill and green sunfish on the Cricket Thunder Bug

Niko Bartash – Potomac River, Washington DC, District of Columbia

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Catfish, Channel

Tried this out in a shallow part by the rapids in the Potomac River, and it worked great! First, I caught a 16 inch smallmouth followed by a smallmouth of about 3-4 inches, and then finally to my great surprise a 22 inch catfish! This was using the size 1 Black Fury with the Chartreuse Dots and Yellow Dots/Yellow Dressed treble.

Alex – Big Stone Lake, Dog Lake, Three Lakes, Wisconsin

Lure: Musky Killer

Fish Caught: Musky - Pike, Northern

First cast had a 20" northern follow it right to the dock. I could have reached down and grabbed it caught that and a 30" musky and a 40" musky all on a medium speed retrieve.

Brian Gierat – Chicago Area (Des Plaines River), Illinois

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Carp

Wow...while fishing for pike I noticed a large carp over 10 pounds in the shallows. On a lark, I swam my #5 Mepps Aglia in front of her nose only to watch the huge carp inhale my spinner! Was an incredible battle with powerful runs to mid-river but I did land that fish. 12 pound carp...so much fun.
Two days later...I caught a 16 inch channel cat on the same #5 and some pike up to 24 inches. What else can you say?!
