You can't beat the Mepps grab bag specials!! They always give you a great assortment of spinners and colors. I use these regularly with customers, The Aglia, Black Fury, Syclops, Musky Killer are just a few of my favorites. Love of the surprise of what's in the grab bag since they are always different. And I like trying spinners and colors I would not have normally chosen, then have them catch lots of fish. Thank you Shep/ The Mepps Man! -Capt JeffLure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Salmon, Quananiche (landlocked)
Bought a Glo Pink Blade/Pink Sleeve Flying C to try to get to the bottom of a deep pool with a very fast current. Caught two huge spawning landlocked salmon in 45 minutes when no one else who was fishing there could get anything down to the fish due to the current. Just purchased a dozen more flying C's. It lives up to it's billing for getting deep and both salmon committed to crushing this lure. Awesome.Lure: Black Fury

I was fishing at Wellers Bay Saturday 07/08/2017 for pike and walleye when I caught a 50 inch musky on a Mepps Comet #5 BRASS. It took probably 1/2 hour to get in his head only fit in my small net . I had to wear him out and finally had his head in the net and grabbed his tail also, to get him in the boat . I don't take my phone with me when I am up there (so I have no picture ) I was shaking with excitement for day's .Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I love my dressed aglia with a copper blade and black tail. I catch all kinds of fish with this thing. All of my friends don't believe me when I tell them I catch so many fish, until I take them out on my boat and show them. Once they see how many and how fast I catch them they all want to know how to get their own lure. So I tell them to get on the Mepps website and order their own. I have a lot of aglia lures with all different color blades and tails, but it seems the fish just can't resist the copper and black. Thanks Mepps for making fishing so much fun!!!Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
I was stationed near Madrid, Spain for 6 years with the U.S. Air Force. I used to go to 3 three bodies of water near each other. All three were on the way to Zaragoza, north of Madrid, nesr the city of Guadalajara. My chief and I were out on a rubber dingy going back and forth between the river and the lake. We were both using Comet Minos and in the course of 4 hours we each caught 12 Northern Pikes apiece. That is one of my best fishing memories. Sadly, the particular Mino's hook rotted out but the plastic body is still good. Are there replacement hooks for them. I'd like to rehook it and give it a place of honor on the retired shelf. Thanks for a great product. My first ever testimonial. I still have some Mepps lures and the mini tackle box they came in that I purchased in the mid 1980s. Some are pretty beat up but still combat ready! :)Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye
I remember I showed up to a spot my friend showed me and I really wasn't sure what kind of fish were in this pit. I just had a gold undressed Mepps number 2 size spinner on and I threw it in the corner of this pond. Next thing ya know I thought I had a big snag, but, sure enough I reeled in a 36" northern pike...Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Sunfish (shellcracker)
I bought the Mepps Rainbow trout Comet Mino on Saturday 4/23 and I went fishing 4/24. I went to a spot I never caught fish at. I was really just using it to shake the rust off and it was a real open spot so I wouldn't get tangled or caught on anything. So I get there and there are three other people fishing. I ask "Hey, you guys catch anything" They said "No we haven't" They were there an hour before me. So I set up shop and I cast out "bam" big sunfish, probably the biggest I ever caught. Then, I cast out two more times, bam! Caught a largemouth bass. These guys were looking at me upset and asked what I was using, I told them. I ended up catching 5 total on the day at a spot I never caught fish at before.Lure: Little Wolf
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown
Have been using Mepps all my life. But, when I first bought a Little Wolf, it was gold. It became one of my favorites. First day I used it while fishing at a small lake near where I live in western New York, I caught 3 largemouth bass,at least 5 bluegill, a couple of crappie, and 4 brook trout in about a hour. I then passed it on to my wife so she could catch some fish, since the live bait she was using had only caught her a couple of bluegill. This gold Little Wolf and others that I have bought this season, have been producing every time.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Perch, Yellow - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown
The lure I reach for first, no matter what I am fishing for is a Gold size 1. It's always catching me trout at the small lake near where I live, catching my limit, even when those right near me are catching nothing. I like how it makes me look like a great fisherman by just knowing the right lure to use. People ask me what I am using and I just tell them to switch to a Mepps spinner. You made Mepps my favorite lure when you first sent me your Fishing Guide 20 years ago and I have been using them and catching fish ever since.Lure: Little Wolf

Great lure! Fishing small lake with 1/8 gold for less than a 1 1/2 hours and caught 4 largemouth bass, 3 brook trout, couple of crappie, and at least a half-dozen bluegills. Have also used in Creek to catch trout. Have always fished with Mepps, but, have a new favorite now.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
Whenever I go out fishing anywhere I always make sure I carry AT LEAST 2 Black Fury's dressed. My personal preference is Black/Chartreuse in a #5. I have caught countless Northerns on these (and I only retire them after the paint and stickers are mostly shredded off by teeth marks). I currently have 3 of them with all of the paint stripped off and another on the way. They produce bar none. I had a fishing competition just this past week. Fishing was real rough as only 4 Northerns were caught. 3 of them were by me with the Black Fury. I have never gone out with this lure and not caught a fish. I am amazed at the successfulness of this lure and highly recommend it to all of my friends and anyone else who is reading this! Mepps has my loyalty and money for life!Lure: Musky Killer
Fish Caught: Musky
Hi! I LOVE fishing, but, I have not fished in years (married-husband doesn't like to fish!) I ALWAYS wanted to catch a Musky. We were invited to my in-laws house on Lake Chataqua-NY. So, I went to Dick's Sporting Goods where I picked out my lures,------thought and said to the men helping me,"Musky Killer, its pretty and looks like a fur coat on the end!" They laughed and said it was funny how I was picking out my lures by look. Anyway, we got to the lake and I started with a pretty silver lure. After a while when that didn't get any attention, I reeled it in and said, " Ok that's it, time to break out the "Musky Killer". After 2 try's-the Musky hit on the third! I thought that I had snagged some seaweed but felt a pull to the right and something large on my line. When I saw the Musky as I was reeling it in closer to the boat I said, " I think I caught a Musky!" Everyone on the boat didn't believe me until they saw it! The Musky I caught and released was 32inches. My Dad loved fishing, flying, and golf. He would always show-off the Musky he caught at Lake Chataqua when he was younger. When he was dying from cancer, I told him I would get a hole in one or try to catch a Musky for him. Well, 1st I thank you God! I also want to thank Mepps for making pretty lures that work! Thank you also to my in-laws and Family for use of their boat, and especially my father-in-law, Gordy, who was our fishing guide that day, and took the hook out of the Musky's mouth for me!Lure: Double Blade Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
My #5 double blade in hot orange/black has been my go to lure in murky waters. The action seems to attract more hits than any other lure I own. I fished this one lure hard in a spatterdock ridden area, many times having to go swimming to retrieve it. Normally I would have just cut the line and called it a day, but I could not part with it. In fact, I normally would be fishing weedless in spaterdock but the double blade results was worth the headache of snagging. Highly recommended for Pickerel and Bass (small & large)Lure: Syclops

I live in Chicago, we have been to the Mepps store for a great tour last year. I'm a believer in Mepps and always use them. On our recent trip to the Adirondacks, I caught several fish smallmouth, perch and several northerns all using Mepps. I have converted several local fishermen to using Mepps it's a great product made by great people in Antigo.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I gotta say MEPPS are by far my go-to-lure company(Blue Fox is my second) for fishing lures. I own about 5 different patterns, I use sizes 1 and 2. My favorite Mepps is the Aglia gold blade spinner with red bead on the hook. I've caught tons of trout and bass on this lure. One morning I caught 3 13-14 inch browns with this lure, all within 30 minutes without even moving location. Word of advice, buy Mepps and plenty of them.Lure: Thunder Bug

HAVE USED THE BLACK FURY FOR MANY YEARS, GREAT LURE, HARDLY LETS ME DOWN. PICKEREL LOVE IT BURNED. ALTHOUGH I REALLY LIKE THIS LURE, IT IS NOT MY ALL TIME FISH CATCHER, THAT LURE WOULD BE THE ACME KASTMASTER. I USE ALL SILVER TYPE THE MOST, COME IN GOLD, & OTHER COLORS. BUT MEPPS SPINNERS ARE A GREAT LURE. MANY A TRIP HAS BEEN SAVED BY THEM. A GREAT LURE THAT I WOULD TELL EVERY FISHERMAN TO BUY AND USE. JEFF COSTIGAN.Lure: Musky Killer

I got my my first Mepps lure last year because I ran out of lures and needed some new ones. It was one of the best decisions I've made getting one. I got the Aglia Plain Treble Hot Firetiger #1. I caught easily over 50 largemouth bass with around 20-25 of them all over a foot long last season. The largest of the season was 18 inches. So far this fishing season I have caught over 30 and around 20 have been over a foot long with the longest around 17 inches. I've caught 2 channel catfish both around 13 or 14 inches, one this season, one last season. I've e caught 2 perch this year both around 11 inches long and I've caught 2 small bluegill this season, none last season. I only have that one lure and it has never disappointed me. I want to get a few more that are a little bigger for some bigger fish. This has to be the best lure in the world. I can't wait to try all the different types.Lure: Bass Pocket Pac - #3 Aglia Plain

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
This has to be the best lure I have ever used. To be more specific, it was a Mepps Lightning with a willow leaf spinner and chartreuse decal and bucktail of the same color. I went to Collins Pond in 1989 and the minute this lure hit the water, I caught bass, crappie and even sunfish and pumpkinseeds went after this lure. The only time I was ever able to find this lure was in the Mepps Bass spinner kit. Upon searching this site I was able to purchase 10. I cannot believe they discontinued this lure. You should endeavour to bring it back. This lure WORKS!!!. I fished for nearly three hours that day, and caught more than forty fish, until my line broke on a cast and I lost it because I neglected to check my line for fraying and tie a new knot. Anyway, please try to bring back this lure.Lure: Giant Killer

I caught seven 8-12" largemouth bass in less than 30 minutes with this awesome lure. Unfortunately I can no longer find them and I lost mine on my next fishing trip after getting hung-up in some rocks. Please let me know where to find them.
