Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye
This is my "go to" bait under most conditions --- I've caught a few legal muskies using the # 5 BLACK FURY despite it's size and recommend it for kids to use on spinning tackle for lots of action -pretty much guaranteed !Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
New to fishing, my husband gave me a bunch of his lures to start off my tackle. One was a Mepps Aglia #3, rainbow trout with pink beads. He’d had it for over a decade and never used it (too pink). It quickly became my go-to. Out catching hubs. Shortly after catching 7 fish (bass, pickerel, pike) I caught a trophy sized bass!!! Sadly a huge pike, decided he liked it so much, he just had to have it.... I am desperately searching for a replacement- but believe it’s discontinued. I have friends all over Canada searching their local tackle shops for it.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I discovered the Mepps dual blade aglia spinner last year and have not put it down since. This lure catches just about everything that my ponds and lakes have to offer. I had never caught salmon, pike, walleye, or trout until I started using this lure. The bass LOVE it. I troll alot and using this lure on 1 rod and a different lure on the other rod, I will catch 90% on the dual blade. Can't say enough about it. Thank you for producing quality products.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

As a kid I grew up using Mepps, in WI and MN. The 21 years I was in the Army, I didn't fish at all. After retirement my wife told me, I needed a hobby, so I took up fishing again, after nearly 25 years. And went and bought a bunch of Mepps and other lures. I can't lie, I am a spinner loving fisherman. Over the last 3 years I have used Mepps almost exclusively. And mainly the Aglia dressed #5 and #3. I have caught tons of fish with them, from Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Small Mouth, Walleye, Bowfin, Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass. I have been to Mepps in Antigo three times with friends to take the tour and get resupplied on my selection. Each time Bev and the crew have been awesome, and a big thanks to them.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I've caught tons of fish on my Comet Mino, but the most excellent fish I caught was a 39in. northern pike. It was massive. It had a diameter of 15in. It took an hour to fillet it. And the same day I caught a huge 28in walleye. I'm for sure telling everyone I know about your guy's Comet Mino. I have never caught so many fish on one lure. I'm a 14 year old kid from Minnesota that doesn't have a job, but loves to go fishing and never, I mean never, had so much fun with one lure. I'm for sure going to save up some money to buy another one of these. I'll make sure everyone I know, knows about these.Lure: Aglia BRITE

At 64 I've fished extensively throughout the Upper midwest from Northern Lower Mi. to Northern Mn. and everywhere in between for over 50 years. I am never without multiple styles and sizes of Mepps spinners. They have been my "go-to" lure all my life and I've caught everything I fish for on them. They always produce when nothing else will and never disappoint. This new "Aglia BRITE is my new favorite style. It amazes me that I will catch fish with it when with buddies who are using something else get skunked. Keep supplying us with these!Lure: Crawler Harness

By far the best spinners I have ever used. I swear by them. I literally catch my limit every time I go fishing. I will never use anything else!!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern - Walleye
Biggest Pike I have ever caught. The Black Fury is my go to lure when all else fails. I thoroughly enjoy all Mepps products!Lure: Aglia Long
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Perch, Yellow - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
I caught a 42" Northern Pike using a #4 Spinner (Glow in the dark lure). As a rule, I usually use the #3 Aglia Long and it catches all species in my area as well as a large variety of sizes. In my Opinion the Mepps #3 Aglia Long is the best all around fishing lure on the market.Lure: Double Blade Aglia
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern - Trout, Lake - Walleye
In Canada with a Mepps #5 and a #5 double blade, I can control a bigger section of the water column. The Double blade is great for deeper weeds. Often, big fish feed at the edge of the weed bed on fish that are getting blown in by the wind. They are going to take the prime spot. Look for a channel that comes out, or a shallow finger that extends out a bit. With the #5 double blade and a Mister Twister tail, I can get down there and show just a little more than the plain #5. It has a little different feel, so it takes some getting used to. The double blade offers quite a bit less resistance to the water, which is what gets it down. As an added bonus, being deeper I was able to pick up Lake Trout and Walleye as well.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bowfin - Musky - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye
Hands down my go-to lure catches everything from perch to muskie! Everytime I fish in a group it out fishes all other lures at least 2 to 1! Thanks Mepps!Lure: Magnum Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bowfin - Musky - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye
I was fishing at Wellers Bay Saturday 07/08/2017 for pike and walleye when I caught a 50 inch musky on a Mepps Comet #5 BRASS. It took probably 1/2 hour to get in his head only fit in my small net . I had to wear him out and finally had his head in the net and grabbed his tail also, to get him in the boat . I don't take my phone with me when I am up there (so I have no picture ) I was shaking with excitement for day's .Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

I love my dressed aglia with a copper blade and black tail. I catch all kinds of fish with this thing. All of my friends don't believe me when I tell them I catch so many fish, until I take them out on my boat and show them. Once they see how many and how fast I catch them they all want to know how to get their own lure. So I tell them to get on the Mepps website and order their own. I have a lot of aglia lures with all different color blades and tails, but it seems the fish just can't resist the copper and black. Thanks Mepps for making fishing so much fun!!!Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Walleye
The Mepps Syclops hands down is the BEST Lure to use on Rainy Lake. It outperforms everything else and catches multiple species of fish. I've caught several trophy Northern over the years on this bait. I prefer size #3.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

The Mepps #3 gold with the brown tail is by far my favorite lure in my tackle box. I will not head out fishing if I don't have one. I have caught all of the fish listed above on a gold #3 with a brown tail. I typically target Northern pike, but will frequently catch Bass, and other fish, unintentionally. The best pike I ever caught was around 40 inches, but I have caught countless others over the years. Whenever someone asks my advice on fishing, I recommend the Mepps #3 and tell them that is all they will ever need.Lure: Basser Kit - #2 and #3 Aglia Assortment

This is possibly the greatest fishing lure ever devised, it can be fished deep, shallow, fast or, slow. I caught my personal best bass, my personal best pike, and my personal best trout on this lure. I have never had a better lure than this, the next time that I see this lure I will buy 10. Thank you, Mepps!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Walleye - Barracuda
I bought the lure being a little skeptical seeing not very many reviews or product testing; even on YouTube there wasn't much. I bought the Black Fury in sizes 1,2 and 3. The number 2 & 3 are awesome! It's almost every other cast you'll get something on the Black Fury. The catch was almost 3lbs and I just recently caught an 8lb largemouth. It's an awesome lure and is a fish magnet. A must have for anybody who loves to throw a lure around.Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern - Trout, Lake - Walleye
My family and I head north to Ontario, Canada every year. The first few years we would take tackle box among tackle box with everything and the kitchen sink. The third year we stopped at a small tackle and bait shop in Red Lake, ON and picked up a couple of the Mepps Syclops. Figured we would give them a try. The clerk said they worked well. Have not looked back since. They work especially well for Pike, troll with them and you'll get plenty of walleye. I lean towards the Firetiger. Every year I bring one home that didn't get lost and it is just mutilated and scarred from catching so many. Great lures. For the price there is no reason to not have at least one. Thanks Mepps.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye
I remember I showed up to a spot my friend showed me and I really wasn't sure what kind of fish were in this pit. I just had a gold undressed Mepps number 2 size spinner on and I threw it in the corner of this pond. Next thing ya know I thought I had a big snag, but, sure enough I reeled in a 36" northern pike...Lure: Black Fury

Whenever I go out fishing anywhere I always make sure I carry AT LEAST 2 Black Fury's dressed. My personal preference is Black/Chartreuse in a #5. I have caught countless Northerns on these (and I only retire them after the paint and stickers are mostly shredded off by teeth marks). I currently have 3 of them with all of the paint stripped off and another on the way. They produce bar none. I had a fishing competition just this past week. Fishing was real rough as only 4 Northerns were caught. 3 of them were by me with the Black Fury. I have never gone out with this lure and not caught a fish. I am amazed at the successfulness of this lure and highly recommend it to all of my friends and anyone else who is reading this! Mepps has my loyalty and money for life!Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Bass, White - Pike, Northern - Walleye
The Gold #00 Syclops was a killer bait. I found it on shore one day and never knew Mepps made spoons and since the white bass run was on, I was psyched to try it out. And, man did it catch the whites bad. I outfished all of my friends who were tossing small Daredevils and Twister. I caught some walleye and pike while I was at it, too, but as soon as I went to try a different bait, I didn't catch a single fish after. I guess they just love the erratic action of the Syclops.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Went up for opening weekend and couldn't catch a thing in the boat. Went down to the dam with my friend and sister, then, BOOM! We had three really nice pike, an eighteen inch smallie, and a walleye. THANKS MEPPS!!!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Here's a wonderfully true testimonial of the #2 brown squirrel tail Mepps. In 1975, I met a fellow in law school. We became, and have remained, best friends for the past 40 years. A few years after we graduated from law school, we were able to afford a fly in fishing trip to Canada. I took every northern and walleye lure known to man, as well as a bucket full of nightcrawlers. The weather was perfect for our four day trip. Only problem was nothing was biting. We trolled for hours...and then days. I pulled out a #2 Squirrel Tail Mepps, a bait I'd often used for bass in Kansas farm ponds. I had no expectation that it would work on walleye or notheren in Canada, but, I was scraping the bottom of the barrel. The instant the #2 Mepps hit the water, all of mother nature expoded! One helluve big northern brought to net. Every cast, another big northern. I gladly offered one to my friend Steve. He met the same success as I. For 40 years now we've made our fly in trips to Canada...we've taken our sons when they got old enough, and now we're taking our grandsons. We always fish first with our #2 Mepps. It has become a legend for three generations of us.
