David Soens – Bear Lake, Hazelhurst, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia Tandem

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern

Banner fishing day catching four species of fish on the same lure, that's right, the Mepps Aglia 5 in one day. Northern were very active and commonly crush the bait. Then oddly enough a perch took it later in the day. Crappie then decided to get in the act. Yet the largemouth bass was the prize of the day. Slow and steady with the retrieve, just make sure you can feel the pulse of the blade turning; and you are golden. Fish on.

Sam – Oneida County, Wisconsin

Lure: Giant Killer Mino

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

We caught 25 fish in two days. 23 on the Mepps two on live bait!
Awesome lure

Chris Beran – Lake Content, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia Flashabou

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

We used this lure over the 4th of July week with great results. It out fished other lures 3 to 1 or so. We caught well over 100 Pike on the trip. We used other colors that were close to the same but nothing worked as well. The added flash on the skirt I think is a game changer.

Thomas McKinney – Ceylon Lagoon, Wisconsin

Lure: Basser & Panfisher Kit - Dressed Lure Assortment

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

Casted for over an hour and half with nothing, first cast with a Mepps Black Fury #5 and land a Pike. In Mepps we trust.

Kevin – Lake, Wisconsin

Lure: Bronze Slammer

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

30 degrees out and caught a pike, it works from what I can tell. Will update when weather is decent, and fish are more active.

Mark Baumbach – Lake Geneva Wisconsin, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia Long

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Perch, White - Walleye

I fish the Mepps Aglia Long in the #0,1 and 2 blade sizes. These lures absolutely put fish in the boat. They will catch anything!! Primarily fishing for bass, walleye and panfish, this is my go to lure. I usually have 2 rods rigged with an Aglia Long with different blades. One of them is going to work. I fish a lot, and can't recommend these enough!!

Thomas McKinney – Ceylon Lagoon, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia Flashabou

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

First time testing out this lure in the spot known for having "no fish" I catch 4 Northerns in about 2 hours, best being around 4 pounds. Great lure, sometimes have issues with weeds but that's totally expected being a treble hook in a heavily weeded area. Can be avoided if you reel it right. Really solid lure will recommend.

Ken Wagner – Turtle Flambeau Flowage, Wisconsin

Lure: Bronze Slammer

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern

These lure is hot

Tim Fox – Yellowstone Nat’l Park And All Over MN & WI, Wisconsin

Lure: Trout Pocket Pac - #0 Aglia Wooly Worm

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Cutthroat - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye

This trio is extremely effective for a diverse range of fresh water fish. I’ve recently caught multi species of trout in Yellowstone NP with these in size 0 and 1. Black Fury also effective. Prefer single hook for a variety of reasons. A great Go To lure of mine for many decades…especially for shore, wader, canoe/kayak fishing rivers, streams, creeks, ponds, and small lakes. One lure I know I can always toss with confidence! (Use thin, lite, line…4-6’ish.)

Lure: Musky Killer Bait Series

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye

In my opinion the Mepps Musky Killer is the most versatile multispecies fishing lure you can pitch. It is a perfect size allowing you to catch a multitude of different species.

While casting the Mepps Musky Killer Bait Series in Walleye color I was able to catch a Musky 40”, Pike 34” Smallmouth Bass 21” & Walleye 24.5” all on the same lake, in the same day on the same bait within 4 hrs of getting on to the water @ sunrise.

Do yourself a favor and try some of the new Mepps Musky Killer Bait Series color schemes. You won’t regret it!

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye

This is my "go to" bait under most conditions --- I've caught a few legal muskies using the # 5 BLACK FURY despite it's size and recommend it for kids to use on spinning tackle for lots of action -pretty much guaranteed !

They slam it and hook ups are pretty much 100%

I always have a couple in the boat and if fishing is slow I can be pretty sure I'll at least have action using the Mepps # 5 Black Fury.

My best experience was going out with my son and putting on a new Black Fury -and catching a legal musky -1st cast !!!

Kip Lohmiller – Lake Poygan, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White - Bowfin - Catfish, Blue - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Walleye - Catfish, Flathead

As a kid I grew up using Mepps, in WI and MN. The 21 years I was in the Army, I didn't fish at all. After retirement my wife told me, I needed a hobby, so I took up fishing again, after nearly 25 years. And went and bought a bunch of Mepps and other lures. I can't lie, I am a spinner loving fisherman. Over the last 3 years I have used Mepps almost exclusively. And mainly the Aglia dressed #5 and #3. I have caught tons of fish with them, from Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Small Mouth, Walleye, Bowfin, Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass. I have been to Mepps in Antigo three times with friends to take the tour and get resupplied on my selection. Each time Bev and the crew have been awesome, and a big thanks to them.
Last year Mepps came out with the Aglia Bait series, and I ordered several different ones, but the Frog was my new go to spinner. I caught probably 6 northern over 32" and tons of bass, small and large mouth, I caught walleye, white bass and more. There are two really memorable days this last season that I would like to share. 1st, Troy and I went out in the morning on Lake Poygan and he was using the Dirty Shad and I was using the Frog, both from the Aglia Bait Series. Up until late afternoon I caught all Large Mouth and Troy caught all Northern Pike. Later that day things change up and we caught 8 White Bass in about 15 minutes and then I started to catch northern on my Frog and Troy, bass on his Dirty Shad. We caught 30 fish that day, it was crazy...... 2nd, My brother in law came up to visit and he has been fishing his whole life so its always a competition. The last day Troy, Jim and myself went out for a day of fishing. Jim "my brother in law" threw everything in his tackle box to include some crazy looking blue gill lure. Troy and I only used Mepps Bait Series. Troy and I caught a total of 20 fish, 10 apiece and Jim caught 4. A great way to end a week of fishing.......
On December 30, 2019 Troy and I went up to Mepps for a tour and to have some lures custom made. The tour was great and Troy and I put in our order. Troy got his lures the next day, WOW. I got mine on the 1st, WOW. The whole team up in Antigo was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a lot Mepps, you build the best lures and have the best customer service!!!!!!!! Troy and I are going to do some bass tourneys this year with only Mepps just for fun...... Have a great year!!!!!

Michael Waite – Anywhere, Wisconsin

Lure: Comet Combo

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

These #4 Comet Twister Combo's work great in 1-6ft of semi weedy areas for Large mouth bass. I can't find these in stores anymore.

Jack Musialowski – Big Muskellunge, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Pike, Northern

I have a #4 and #2 they are great! Northern go crazy for the #4. Bass like the #2. I caught some big bluegills on the number 2 as well.

Chuck – Sheboygan Falls- Sheboygan River, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia Bait Series

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern

Fishing the Sheboygan River using a #3 dressed crawfish pattern produced a day to remember. Over 200 smallmouth bass to 21" and northern pike to 31". All of this done while wade/walking a large stretch of the river. This combination is my new go-to bait to start the day with. It has consistently produced on both sunny and overcast days. Yet another great color pattern from MEPPS.

Joseph Schroeder – Private Pond, Wisconsin, Wisconsin

Lure: Black Fury Ultra Lites

Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow

The #0 Black Fury with pink dots, is by far the best spinner for stocked trout I have ever used, one fish after another.

Caleb Taylor – Tomahawk, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Musky

The #5 Aglia is my favorite lure for Pike. I've caught countless Northern on these and my fair share of Largemouth and Smallmouth, but, my absolute best catch was the 45" Musky this lure helped me land.

Barbara Wallace – Wolf River Wisconsin, Wisconsin

Lure: Bucktails and Tandem Bucktails

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

2nd cast near weeds. 2 ft of water. Sunny morning. Caught 36" Northern. Caught 5 Northern for the week.

Josh White – Beaver Dam River, Lowell, Wisconsin

Lure: Syclops

Fish Caught: Bass, White - Pike, Northern - Walleye

The Gold #00 Syclops was a killer bait. I found it on shore one day and never knew Mepps made spoons and since the white bass run was on, I was psyched to try it out. And, man did it catch the whites bad. I outfished all of my friends who were tossing small Daredevils and Twister. I caught some walleye and pike while I was at it, too, but as soon as I went to try a different bait, I didn't catch a single fish after. I guess they just love the erratic action of the Syclops.

Brian Kreutz – Madison, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye

I LOVE the Aglia spinners. My son and I use them as a "go to" lure for pretty much anything we fish for and ALWAYS have luck when we do. Thanks for making such an awesome product Mepps!!!!

Kevin Leslie – Geneva Lake, Lake Geneva Wisconsin, Wisconsin

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth

Out breaking in new boat for first time with wife and son. Stopped and casted a Black Fury in 10 feet of water. First fish was a nice smallmouth that I released about 5 feet from the boat as it jumped and danced on the water!!!!!!!!! LOL. Boated two more and released. Wife caught several rock bass and son, well, he caught a cray fish and a small clam!!!!!!! He was using a Black Fury too. I guess they do catch anything!!!!!

Thanks Mepps

Henry Rogge – Wisconsin River, Wisconsin

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern - Walleye

Went up for opening weekend and couldn't catch a thing in the boat. Went down to the dam with my friend and sister, then, BOOM! We had three really nice pike, an eighteen inch smallie, and a walleye. THANKS MEPPS!!!

Hoodo – Ghost Lake, Hayward, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Musky

I was using a #5 Mepps dressed Aglia. It was hot green with a bright green bucktail and a treble hook. I was on a one week fishing trip with Tushoes, who had already caught multiple muskellunges and walleyes, but I was get skunked by the big game. I tried my old reliable Mepps spinner and got two follow ups. I was unable to hook those monsters, though.
The trip was coming to a close and I had still not caught the big fish. Feeling desperate, I put on the lucky green Mepps #5 and threw a maximum of thirty casts, and then a fish was hooked! He jumped out of the water and threw the hook. In tears, I sloppily threw another cast, and an even bigger fish was on the line! We were able to bring him in take a picture and release him in good time.

Thank you, Mepps.

Jonathon – Delivan Lake, Wisconsin

Lure: Musky Marabou

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern

Never been a big fan of bucktails as they have never produced as well as some other baits. I had to try a Musky Marabou 'cause of how fluffy it looked in the package. I bought one to try and now I have basically every Musky Marabou Mepps makes. I like to troll over the weeds with the Marabou and have caught a ton of largemouth over 5lbs???? Who would have thought largemouth would attack the Musky Marabou, but, they do; and, there all monster bass no small guys with this lure. it also has caught me more northern than I can count, the largest being 45-inches, and we have only got a couple of smaller 35 or so inch musky, go figure the Musky Marabou has caught me some of my biggest bass and pike and only a couple of smaller musky. Once the big musky start to come a little shallow late in the season, I'm sure that will change! Thanks Mepps, but I think you need to re-name the Musky Marabou to the predator Marabou 'cause it catches all the predators.

Mason Wood – Bear Lake, Hazlehurst, Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Pike, Northern

I caught 27 Northern in one hour. All were above 25 inches. All were caught off a paddle boat. It was the best fishing in my life.

Ryan – Kewaskum, Wisconsin

Lure: Musky Killer

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern

It brings a tear to my eye every time I think about this lure. The white blade and white tail Musky Killer has produced more fish for me than any other lure. I caught a 49 inch muskie last summer with this lure and countless northern and smaller muskie. It is a feeding frenzy every time it is thrown in the water. You can run it as shallow as you want and even have the blade create a wake on the surface. Perfect for shallow casting over weeds for monster fish. If you throw this lure you will not be disappointed. Great job on the lure, Mepps.

Todd Jesse – Wisconsin

Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

This lure is my "GO TO" lure. The best lure in my tackle box.

Henry – Gilmore Lake, Wisconsin

Lure: Black Fury

Fish Caught: Musky

I was fishing with my father when I saw the musky. Well, I threw on a whole assortment of lures, but, only my Mepps spinners were coaxing it. So, finally I threw on a Black Fury and bam! 4-foot monster.

Bryce Lindsey – Lake Butte Des Morts, Wisconsin

Quick bite

Mike Skenadore – Legend Lake, Keshena,, Wisconsin

Lure: Syclops

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Pike, Northern

I went out after work on October 24th to fish for Northern. I caught a few nice northern but to my surprise I caught more than 10 largemouth bass. The largest bass was 3lbs with several being over 2 lbs. The strikes were aggressive and I didn't miss a fish. I am impressed.
