Lure: Trout Pocket Pac - #0 Aglia Wooly Worm
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown - Trout, Cutthroat - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye
This trio is extremely effective for a diverse range of fresh water fish. I’ve recently caught multi species of trout in Yellowstone NP with these in size 0 and 1. Black Fury also effective. Prefer single hook for a variety of reasons. A great Go To lure of mine for many decades…especially for shore, wader, canoe/kayak fishing rivers, streams, creeks, ponds, and small lakes. One lure I know I can always toss with confidence! (Use thin, lite, line…4-6’ish.)Lure: Musky Killer Bait Series
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye
In my opinion the Mepps Musky Killer is the most versatile multispecies fishing lure you can pitch. It is a perfect size allowing you to catch a multitude of different species.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern - Walleye
This is my "go to" bait under most conditions --- I've caught a few legal muskies using the # 5 BLACK FURY despite it's size and recommend it for kids to use on spinning tackle for lots of action -pretty much guaranteed !Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White - Bowfin - Catfish, Blue - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Walleye - Catfish, Flathead
As a kid I grew up using Mepps, in WI and MN. The 21 years I was in the Army, I didn't fish at all. After retirement my wife told me, I needed a hobby, so I took up fishing again, after nearly 25 years. And went and bought a bunch of Mepps and other lures. I can't lie, I am a spinner loving fisherman. Over the last 3 years I have used Mepps almost exclusively. And mainly the Aglia dressed #5 and #3. I have caught tons of fish with them, from Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Small Mouth, Walleye, Bowfin, Crappie, Catfish, and White Bass. I have been to Mepps in Antigo three times with friends to take the tour and get resupplied on my selection. Each time Bev and the crew have been awesome, and a big thanks to them.Lure: Comet Combo
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
These #4 Comet Twister Combo's work great in 1-6ft of semi weedy areas for Large mouth bass. I can't find these in stores anymore.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Pike, Northern
I have a #4 and #2 they are great! Northern go crazy for the #4. Bass like the #2. I caught some big bluegills on the number 2 as well.Lure: Aglia Bait Series
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern
Fishing the Sheboygan River using a #3 dressed crawfish pattern produced a day to remember. Over 200 smallmouth bass to 21" and northern pike to 31". All of this done while wade/walking a large stretch of the river. This combination is my new go-to bait to start the day with. It has consistently produced on both sunny and overcast days. Yet another great color pattern from MEPPS.Lure: Black Fury Ultra Lites
Fish Caught: Trout, Rainbow
The #0 Black Fury with pink dots, is by far the best spinner for stocked trout I have ever used, one fish after another.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Musky
The #5 Aglia is my favorite lure for Pike. I've caught countless Northern on these and my fair share of Largemouth and Smallmouth, but, my absolute best catch was the 45" Musky this lure helped me land.Lure: Bucktails and Tandem Bucktails
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
2nd cast near weeds. 2 ft of water. Sunny morning. Caught 36" Northern. Caught 5 Northern for the week.Lure: Syclops
Fish Caught: Bass, White - Pike, Northern - Walleye
The Gold #00 Syclops was a killer bait. I found it on shore one day and never knew Mepps made spoons and since the white bass run was on, I was psyched to try it out. And, man did it catch the whites bad. I outfished all of my friends who were tossing small Daredevils and Twister. I caught some walleye and pike while I was at it, too, but as soon as I went to try a different bait, I didn't catch a single fish after. I guess they just love the erratic action of the Syclops.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Trout, Brook - Trout, Rainbow - Walleye
I LOVE the Aglia spinners. My son and I use them as a "go to" lure for pretty much anything we fish for and ALWAYS have luck when we do. Thanks for making such an awesome product Mepps!!!!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth
Out breaking in new boat for first time with wife and son. Stopped and casted a Black Fury in 10 feet of water. First fish was a nice smallmouth that I released about 5 feet from the boat as it jumped and danced on the water!!!!!!!!! LOL. Boated two more and released. Wife caught several rock bass and son, well, he caught a cray fish and a small clam!!!!!!! He was using a Black Fury too. I guess they do catch anything!!!!!Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Pike, Northern - Walleye
Went up for opening weekend and couldn't catch a thing in the boat. Went down to the dam with my friend and sister, then, BOOM! We had three really nice pike, an eighteen inch smallie, and a walleye. THANKS MEPPS!!!Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Musky
I was using a #5 Mepps dressed Aglia. It was hot green with a bright green bucktail and a treble hook. I was on a one week fishing trip with Tushoes, who had already caught multiple muskellunges and walleyes, but I was get skunked by the big game. I tried my old reliable Mepps spinner and got two follow ups. I was unable to hook those monsters, though.Lure: Musky Marabou
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern
Never been a big fan of bucktails as they have never produced as well as some other baits. I had to try a Musky Marabou 'cause of how fluffy it looked in the package. I bought one to try and now I have basically every Musky Marabou Mepps makes. I like to troll over the weeds with the Marabou and have caught a ton of largemouth over 5lbs???? Who would have thought largemouth would attack the Musky Marabou, but, they do; and, there all monster bass no small guys with this lure. it also has caught me more northern than I can count, the largest being 45-inches, and we have only got a couple of smaller 35 or so inch musky, go figure the Musky Marabou has caught me some of my biggest bass and pike and only a couple of smaller musky. Once the big musky start to come a little shallow late in the season, I'm sure that will change! Thanks Mepps, but I think you need to re-name the Musky Marabou to the predator Marabou 'cause it catches all the predators.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
I caught 27 Northern in one hour. All were above 25 inches. All were caught off a paddle boat. It was the best fishing in my life.Lure: Musky Killer
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Musky - Pike, Northern
It brings a tear to my eye every time I think about this lure. The white blade and white tail Musky Killer has produced more fish for me than any other lure. I caught a 49 inch muskie last summer with this lure and countless northern and smaller muskie. It is a feeding frenzy every time it is thrown in the water. You can run it as shallow as you want and even have the blade create a wake on the surface. Perfect for shallow casting over weeds for monster fish. If you throw this lure you will not be disappointed. Great job on the lure, Mepps.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
This lure is my "GO TO" lure. The best lure in my tackle box.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Musky
I was fishing with my father when I saw the musky. Well, I threw on a whole assortment of lures, but, only my Mepps spinners were coaxing it. So, finally I threw on a Black Fury and bam! 4-foot monster.Lure: Aglia & Dressed Aglia

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Pike, Northern
I went out after work on October 24th to fish for Northern. I caught a few nice northern but to my surprise I caught more than 10 largemouth bass. The largest bass was 3lbs with several being over 2 lbs. The strikes were aggressive and I didn't miss a fish. I am impressed.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
I'm ten years old I was fishing with mom, dad, and grandpa. We were fishing a lake called Horse Head. On our third stop I started getting small bites on my 6th cast there was an explosive hit I reeled the line up to the boat and there was a northern on my line. Mepps this is an awesome lure.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
My dad took me fishing with my friend at Gilmore lake we went down below the dam. On my first cast I got a big hit. So I casted In the same place and bam a big fish on the end took me 2 minutes to get the fish in but the fight was really fun. It was a14in. largemouth. This is a great lureLure: Black Fury
Me and my dad were fishing the Wisconsin River. When my dad saw a muskie, he tied a spinner on and tried to hook it by the tail to try to get it in, but, the Muskie had other ideas it turned and grabbed the spinner and went. Three minutes went by, but, the muskie spit it out and swam up river I tied on a Black Fury and casted up river where the Muskie went for, cast it struck it was on practically all the to the shore, when it spit out the lure straight at me I dodged. I'm glad I didn't lose the lure though.Lure: Spin Flies
Fish Caught: Trout, Brook - Trout, Brown
The Mepps Spin Fly is a great trout spinner. I caught the biggest fish probably ever in our little creek on these spinners.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
This lure is awesome. I was slaying bass with this. I caught a 15.5 incher and a 14 incher with around 10 minutes in between each other. It was the fluorescent orange with Black in a size 3 blade. These were the first two considerable fish I've ever caught on an artificial lure. I'm 13 and I beg my dad to take me fishing every weekend in the summer. Thanks, Mepps!Lure: Aglia BRITE
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Salmon, Coho (silver) - Steelhead - Trout, Brown - Salmon, Chinook (king)
I have been fishing the Manitowoc River for over 15 years now but never have I caught so many fish than on the new Aglia BRITE #3 Orange-Gold. October 5th was the first huge day as I reeled in an 11 lb. steelhead, a 7 lb. brown trout, 2 coho salmon about 5 lbs. each, 2 chinook salmon each over 10 lbs., and 3 smallmouth bass over 18". I caught all these fish on the Aglia BRITE in a span of about 50 minutes in the same hole. My go to was always the #3 Aglia dressed, but, I may have a new favorite. Either way these lures are deadly.Lure: Black Fury
Fish Caught: Musky
I am 13 years old, and I was fishing with my uncle and dad in Wisconsin. For almost the whole trip, I was fishing the Mepps Black Fury Killer Combo number 4. I was catching a lot of small nothern pike. Then, I cast and hooked into a once in a life time musky. It was 46 inches long. I am glad that I was using the Black Fury and will be telling my friends about my catch and lure that made it happen. Awesome!Lure: Comet Mino
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Pike, Northern - Sunfish (shellcracker) - Walleye
I'm completely In Love with this lure. I came across it a few years ago. And it quickly became my "lucky" lure. It's pretty much all I use. I try it right away everywhere I stop. And you can seem to use it anywhere. And you never know what might hit. I feel completely heartbroken every time I lose one. Most of the time it's been to gigantic fish that broke the line, or other faults of mine.
